The protagonist of the story, Simmy, is a typical charming, high-spirited and friendly girl from a city up in the mountains. She has spent her childhood with her close friends, amidst fun and frolic, with not a care in the world. However, such are the vagaries of life that a chain of events unfolds, which sends her world, spiralling out of control. A distraught Simmy, enters into a cocoon and becomes a person who is a pale shadow of her former self, shunning all company.
