of coarse, a twenty-year-old couldn't just go to Academy, and buy a bow sized for a child about four years old. You must size according to your own size.
Now first, before I begin, you must know that I can't help you if you want any compound bow type thingy. That, shown from my last sentence, just isn't my area of expertise. So now that that's cleared up, let's begin.
Now, to start off, we need to eliminate all of the (or some of the) bow sizing myths.
1. No, your arm-span is NOT equal to your height. I have no clue where people got that crazy idea.
2. No, not every bow should come to your chest if it is the right size.
3. No, it doesn't have to be eye level either.
4. I'm getting impatient right now and I want to hurry up and get to telling you how to actually shoot, so that is why I will be giving you archery homework after every chapter. Now don't freak out, it's usually just a simple Internet search.
ARCHERY HOMEWORK: search up the basics of archery bow AND arrow sizing. The arrows are just as important. If you want to know more myths, you can search that up too
