My hands are shaking as I knock on the cafe door.
I am greeted by a woman she has long brown hair and a beautiful smile.
"You must be Mia" she grinned "come in, come in"
I step inside and was hit with a smell of muffins and cakes.
I've smelt these smells before but today it was just a little bit sweeter.
"Take a seat" she smiled "Leo's just taking a shower"
I sit down at the armchair I sat in yesterday.
"Ok Mia do you like marshmallows?" The lady asked
"Yes"
She clapped her hands and ran to a counter.
She came back with a cake.
"Marshmallow cream cake" she smiled "new recipe"
I took a bite. It was like biting into a fluffy cloud.
"This is amazing!" I grinned "how did you make this?"
She tapped her nose.
"Family secrets" Leo laughed out of nowhere
I turn around, he's wearing dark blue jeans and a navy t-shirt.
He grins and sits down next to me
"Soo" he pauses "where would you like to go?"
My heart plummets with disappointment, has he not even thought about it?
"Oh... I don't mind" I mumble
"Good" he smirks "because I have a few ideas"
He takes my hand and drags me out of the shop.
"This way" he gestures
We carry on walking down a long alleyway down the side of the building.
I look down and realise we are still holding hands.
I blush.
"Here we are" he says
I look around, my eyes adjust to the darkness.
I just make out a few outlines.
A bench.
A plant pot.
A bush.
And a...
"What that?" I ask pointing at the mystery object.
"Aha" he says shuffling back and forwards "now Mia grace have you ever been on a motorbike?"
"No" I say starting to feel panicky
"Good" he chuckles leading me towards the metal beast
He looks at me quizzically "are you ok with a quick trip?" He questions
"Yeah I've always wanted to... Ride a motorbike" I grin
"Ok then" he says grabbing a helmet and throwing it to me, I feel my hands starting to sweat.
I fumble with the buckle and slipped it over my straightened hair.
He jumps on the bike, I stare at him
"Come on then" he grins
I sigh and jump on the back.
"Hold on tight" he shouts over the sound of the growling engine
I wrap my arms tightly around his waist.
Suddenly I feel the wind rushing on my face my hair flailing behind me.
After a while I start to loosen up and I actually start to enjoy myself.
I smile as we pull up on the sea front.
