First introduced as an SM Rookie on October 13, 2015, Taeil debuted in NCT as part of the NCT U song "Without You" alongside Doyoung and Jaehyun. Taeil was revealed as part of the first fixed unit, NCT 127, on July 1, 2016. In NCT 127, he is one of the main vocalists.
