A/n: The first episode for the final season has released as of the day I post this, it is just as exciting as the manga with a few added additions with new scenes I'm just glad I managed to hit the Marely Arc before it released so beware of spoilers for those watching the show only, as of this part the story I can only assume its about 10 episodes into the final season.
You lean on your window's railing the smoke from your cigarette escaping through the side of your nonexistent cheek staring at the festival in Liberio smiling at the the Marleyan people actually walking into the internment zone as music plays on the stage in the plaza flicking your cigarette out the window you finish buttoning your shirt placing your porcelain mask back on leaving a sleeping Pieck in your bed descending down the stairs heading to the military complex finding two guards talking with each other the gate closed
Gate guard 1: hey, Mr. Tybur.
Gate guard 2: I guessed you would've be at the festival and all?
(Y/n): I'll join the festival later, I came to see an old vet.
Gate guard 2: some lucky vet to be getting a visit from you Mr. Tybur.
(Y/n): he's a good soldier always there when I needed him one of the few remaining members of my warrior division.
Gate guard 1: shame that mission was a bust.
The guard finally opens the gate enough for you to walk through waving them goodbye walking into the main building heading to the roof hearing a familiar screech you raise your hand a falcon swoops down perching itself on your gloved arm
(Y/n): hey there Sven who let you out?
You caress it's feathers walking to the side of the roof entrance where other falcons are caged finding that someone had forgotten to lock his cage putting him back in
(Y/n): don't need you causing a disturbance, here.
You crouch opening a container under the cages pulling a piece of dry meat tossing it at the falcon who happily catches it
???: I heard that you like to spend time up here.
(Y/n): sighs" indeed I do, Uncle.
Willy: it seems peaceful.
(Y/n): what are you doing here?
Willy: I was talking with your commander
(Y/n): really, is there something you needed?
He walks to the edge of the building leaning onto the lip
Willy: I'm going to be bait tonight (Y/n), and if they do take the bait you'll be the head of our family.
(Y/n): I see...
You join him looking into the street seeing cargo trucks try to traverse through the streets carrying crates with your factory's logo on it
Willy: you are our family's magnum opus countless generations have tried to continue the mission that our oldest ancestor has quested upon himself and his descendants now it has fallen onto you.
(Y/n): and if I don't?
Willy: pass it on.
(Y/n): you make it sound like it's so important.
Willy: because it is, you've subconsciously tried to complete his mission that girl you were so infatuated with "you narrow your eyes at him" do you think your feelings were yours.
(Y/n): tsk whatever you say uncle I'll try to uphold the mission.
Your uncle smiles standing up he places his hand on your shoulder
