Back when the universe was first created God grew tired. He didn't want to rule the vast galaxies by himself so he created powerful beings to look after the things he created. Each being was assigned to different wonders made from God, whether it was the land, the rivers, or the flowers. God would let his children roam free and construct the world in his image. But before they were allowed to be set free he told his children that he once gave a child immense power but he took it and became corrupted. To ensure that it wouldn't happen again, God created beings that would live in the environments of their design. The humans would only love the beings that were pure of heart and still hadn't been consumed by the darkness of power. As long as he saw that each being was being adored he would know they were still good. So with this God set his children free while he rested and watched his children create life.
