AUTHORS NOTE: OH MY GOD I'm so sorry I haven't posted in like a year! here's chapter two!!
Health was my next class. I had it with Nick. I kept thinking about him wondering if he was thinking about me. I saw him walking behind me so I slowed down to walk with him.
"Hey Kayla!" He called from behind me.
I turned around, "Oh hey Nick." I said casually. He walked fast to catch up with me.
" Oh god health sucks." He said
" I know right! She has it out to get me!" I replied while I played with my hair.
" Aww everyone look at the two lovebirds." said Roy as Nick and I walked into health.
"Roy shut up." I said as I sat down next to Hayley.
"Yeah bro shut up." Nick replied.
Ms. Clements started talking. Kayley leaned over and whispered, " So how's your boyfriend?"
"Oh my god shut up he's not my boyfriend." I whispered back.
Hayley said, " Come on look at how he's looking at you, he totally likes you!"
I looked over. He looked at me. When I caught his eye we both shifted our eyes away. Well that was awkward.
"Kayla and Hayley I'm separating you two", Ms. Clements said,"Roy and Kayla switch seats."
Hayley mounted,"Have fun!"
I sat down next to Nick, Cameron and Andrew.
"Thanks a lot!" Cameron and Andrew said.
"Hey leave her alone!" Nick said as he turned around to look at the board.
Woah what was that. Maybe Hayley's right. What if he does like me? Should I ask him? I wish this was easier, why couldn't I have just said yes last year?
