Forgiveness (a trolls world tour story)

Part 5

barbs pov.(I know it's the same person twice in a row. deal with it)

curse my bright red colors

swimming faster than I ever have in my life and screaming at the top of my lungs, wait can sharks hear?!!!

so swimming as fast as I can with my mouth shut but the shark is slowly gaining on me, I see the trolls from before trying to catch up or at least get its attention away from me but failing

no I'm not crying, you're crying! the shark swoops its tail toward trollex who dodged ready for it and I suddenly realize something, the technotrolls are fast which gives them an edge on the shark, rock trolls are slow but attack with strong force which could do nothing against such a big creature

looking around for a safe place to hide I see a hole in the ground like the royal bunker! if I get in there the shark won't be able to get me!

then out of the corner of my eye I see a young technotroll maybe 8 years old with her tail stuck under a rock

without thinking I swim away from the hole toward the kid and free her tail, by now the  shark was almost on top of us

trollex swam in front of us "get behind me!" he yells normally I would say something like 'we are behind you' but I listen to him instead

trollex doesn't move but simply crouches in front of us and whispers under his breath "wait for it, wait for it" the shark moves the side of his face exposed "gotcha" trollex whispers 

then he raises his trident moves forward and... lets just say I'm sorry for the shark, who quickly swam away seconds after

trollex turns to the kid and says "cari!"

'cari' bursts out crying

"shhh" he whispers "its ok, beryl!" he turns to one of the people that fought with him "go take cari to her parents"

"on it" the woman swam away with the child

"you" he turns toward me "I'd like to speak to you"
