WINGS
Touch the sky with your wings of gold,
Smile at the stars,
Wave at the moon,
Reach for your dreams, no matter your scars.
Don’t let your feathers turn grey,
Turn your face to sky,
Stay in the sunlight,
Never kill and never lie.
Keep your head up, even when your wings are broken.
All your tears will dry in time,
Stay strong when you feel weak,
At the bottom you can only climb.
Don’t shy away from the people you love,
With their support you will finally shine.
This is just a little poem-prologue to the real story. It doesn't have much to do with it, but I had to write it so i figured I'd put it up.
