Always you [ Book Three ]

Different type of fear

Harry's pov
Mabel was in front of me in tears shaking a bit

"Baby who's at the door??" Jade mumbled in geordie as she came into the hall

"Mabel??" She asked and quickly ran over and wrapped her in a hug

"Sorry" Mabel said

"Come in" I said and moved aside

"Is everything alright??" Jade asked her

"I was....umm I didn't know where to go so I.....umm came here" she mumbled I closed the door and followed Jade and Mabel into the living room

"I'm sorry I woke you guys up" Mabel said as she sat down

"Don't worry about" Jade said

"Is everything alright??" Jade asked again and this time she shook her head

"Mab what happened??" I asked she shook her head and I could see fear in her eyes

I grabbed her hands and pulled her sleeves up revealing a ton of bruises

"Who did this??" I asked and she nodded

"Mabel!!" I warned she flinched and tears streamed down

"No..." she said my heart crushed she was afraid of me I let her go and she buried her face in Jade's shoulder

"Can I talk to you??" She asked Jade i looked at Jade and she nodded at me

"I'm upstairs" I said and went up

Jade's pov
The second Harry disappeared Mabel broke down

"Babe what's wrong?? What happened??" I asked and she shook her head

"Can I stay here for a while??" She asked

"Yeah!! You can stay hey how about you get some sleep now and in the morning we can go meet the girls" I said and she nodded

"Okay" She said I got up and signalled her to follow me

I lead her to the guest bedroom

"There's a couple of clothes in there" I said pointing at the cupboard

"Get some sleep" I said before I could leave she grabbed my hand

"Thank you Jade...I just need to feel safe and you and Harry are the closest to that feeling" she said

"You always have us!!" I said and pulled her into a hug

"Jade??" She said and I looked at her

"I was wondering if you could...

"Stay with you??" I asked and she nodded

"I will"

"Do you want to talk about it??" I asked and she shook her head after she cried herself to sleep I had an idea of what happened but I didn't want to push her so I let her be

I slowly got up and walked to the bedroom I opened the door and Harry was sitting on the bed

"Is she alright?" He asked me

"I don't know she won't tell me what happened" I said and sat down next to him

"She had bruises on her hands" he said shaking his head

"Give her time she's in shock right now" I said rubbing his back

"I know it's just I want to bash up whoever did that to her" he said

"I feel so helpless" he said

Mabel and Harry have a very cute brother sister relationship and Mabel , me and the girls have a good relationship too she's like our little sister

"Till we know what happened we're all helpless" I said and he looked at me

"She turned away Jade!! I saw the fear in her eyes!!" He said shaking his head

"I would never hurt her" he said

"Hazza who did she come too??" I asked and he bit his lip

"She came straight here cause she knows that she's safe with you" I said and he sighed nodding

"Is she sleeping??" He asked and I nodded

"It's 3:30" he said and lay back on the bed pulling me with him then he pulled the covers over us and kissed my head

"Love you" he mumbled and his grip on me tightened as though he was protecting me

Seeing Mabel made me think of what happened with me and Matt she was afraid the type of fear that can only be caused by that

But there was something more to it she wouldn't even look anyone in the eye and like Harry said she was shaking when he stepped next to her

Harry was asleep I slipped out from under his arm and went downstairs I sat by the window and looked out

I let my mind drift off to me and the girls all the memories I chuckled at the thought of some of it and the my mind drifted to my other happy place

Harry

All the memories from back in the day came back , the way he let's out his duck call when he laughs and claps his hands like a baby with that dimple showing

You told me all those years ago that I would end up with him I would have told you to fuck off

Now in a few months I'm gonna marry him he's literally the boy version of me

I grabbed my notebook that was on the table and quickly wrote down the flow of lyrics going through my mind

I slowly felt my eyelids turn heavy and I slipped into a dreamless sleep

*pots and pans clatter*

I shot up to see Harry shushing the dishes on the floor I chuckled and made my way to him

"What are you doing??" I asked causing him to jump slightly and turn toward me

"I was umm thinking about making breakfast for you and Mabel" he said and smiled i wrapped my arms around him and he kissed my head

"Do you mind checking if she's awake??" He asked I nodded

"Jade??" A small voice called from the stairs

"Yeah , babe" I said and walked to the room

She ran up to me and pulled me into a hug

"Are you okay??" I asked and she nodded

"Are you hungry??" I asked and she nodded a no

"Let's go see the girls yeah" I asked and she nodded a yes

"Hey girls I made breakfast" Harry said coming into the room and Mabel immediately held me tighter

"I think we're gonna skip" I said and shot him an apologetic look

"No it's okay I'm gonna head out call me if you need anything okay??" He said and walked out waving at us

"I think the girls should come over" I said grabbing my phone and sending a text

Mabel made her way to the sofa and brought her knees to her chest and I confirmed my suspicion

But I knew that I was not going to be successful with helping her through this without the girls I sighed and made my way to the kitchen waiting for them to come
