Jaded Love

CHAPTER 1

Hello guys!! First of all I am really sorry for not updating but it became impossible for me to update coz I had all my projects and classes lined up.

So let's start with our very first chapter

It was a normal day

It was almost 1:00 pm and everybody was present in the empty canteen near CID Bureau.

Suddenly someone shouted :- PANKAJJ

Everyone's gaze shifted to source of the voice .

Then Pankaj gathered a bit of courage and said:- K....KYA....KYA HU....HUA PU....PU.....PURVI??

[ Yes it was none other than Purvi]

Purvi:- Kya hua? Kya hua? Aise bhole mat ban. Mujhe sab pata hain!

Pankaj:- Ky....kya pata hai tu....tujhe?

Purvi:- Mujhe pata hain ki tu ne hi meri tiffin khayi hai.

Pankaj( with a cute pout):- ummm....umm..wo...woh I am sorry Purvi actually tere tiffin mein se bohot hi acchi smell aaraha tha isiliye mujhse aur control nahi ho raha tha. Ummm...ummm..sorry na Purvi tu chahe to me...mera lunch khale. Dekh maine aaj teri favourite chocolates bhi laye hai. Please yaar gussa matt ho na please I promise next time se main tujhse puch kar hi tera lunch lunga.

Purvi (while giving Pankaj a death glare) shouted:- Har bar har bar tu yehi kehta hai aur yeh baaki ke saare ( pointing towards the other officers) hamesha tujhe support karte aur kehte hain (while imitating others) "Chhod do na yaar ab gussa thuk do aur waise bhi bechara baccha hai galti ho jati hai." Lekin iss bar aisa kuch nahi hoga. Iss bar main tujhe-

But she was cut by someone's voice:- Aree yaar Purvi chodo na dekho Pankaj ke taraf se main tumse maafi mang raha hu. (while pouting) I am sorry na Purvi.

Purvi was shocked
Then Pankaj also joined him by holding his ears :- I am sorry na dekh Kavin sir bhi mujhse agree kar rahe hai

While this all the others were shifting their gaze from Purvi to Pankaj, Kavin and then again on Purvi.

Finally after a lot of struggle Purvi agreed to forgive Pankaj but under only one condition and that is Pankaj will have to share his lunch with Purvi.

Pankaj also agreed with her condition.

Like this the lunch break got over and everybody was about leave the canteen when Daya noticed that Kavin was not present .

Daya:- Yaar Abhijeet yeh Kavin kahi dikhai nahi de raha kaha gaya ?

Abhijeet:- Daya shayad woh bureau chala gaya hai-

Abhijeet was about complete his sentence when Kavin returned with a plate full of OREO biscuits in it.

Then, Abhijeet said:- Aree!! Woh dekho Kavin aagaya hum khamakha zyada soch rahe the.

Kavin came near their table and started to distribute the  biscuits among everyone and he noticed that Pankaj was going to take a bite but he held Pankaj's hand and said.

Kavin:- Aree!! yeh kya kar rahe ho Pankaj?

Pankaj:- Sir! Yeh kaisa sawal hai biscuit diya hai to wo kha raha hu.

Kavin:- Pankaj thoda sa wait karo hum sab saath mein khate hain na. Tumne wo khahavat nahi suna hai kya??

Shreya:- Konsi khahavat sir??

Kavin (while stammering):- Aree wohi....ummm...wo kehte hain na ummm.....ha...ha..wo The family that eats together stays together.

Kavin ( in his mind):- Haassh! Aaj oh bach gaya warna mera plan aaj  chopat ho hi jata. Iss mote Pankaj ki wajah se. Itni bhi kya jaldi hai usse ? Huh!! Wo toh acha hua hua ki maine time pe dekh liya warna mera record tutne se koi nahi rok sakta tha.

Everyone noticed that Kavin was lost in his thoughts. So, Dushyant indicated everyone except Kavin with his eyes . Everyone in return blinked their in assurance.

Next moment was the action time. Dushyant started his countdown by showing his fingers. And suddenly everyone shouted in unison.

Everyone together:- KAVIN/ KAVIN SIR!!

Kavin came out of his pool of thoughts and jumped :- Kya hua?

Nikhil said:- Sir aap kaha khogaye the aap?

Dushyant said:- Nikhil tumne galat question pucha hai. Usse yeh puchna chahiye ki kiske khayalo mein kho gaya hai.

Kavin blushed and said:- Aree! Aisi koi baat nahi hai main toh bas aise hi ek case ke bareme soch raha tha.
         Accha yeh sab chodo aur chalo sab ek saath biscuits khate hain.

Daya and Abhijeet smelled something suspicious but kept quite and rubbed those thoughts off their minds.

They all took a bite of the biscuits together except for Kavin. He was eagerly waiting for everyone's expression after eating those customised biscuits by Kavin

After taking a bite everyone looked at Kavin while making weird faces. Kavin burst out laughing after looking at their faces. After a couple of minutes he somehow controlled himself and looked at the officers who were giving him a death glare.

Then, Pankaj somehow managed to speak:- Sir!! Yeh kaisa mazak hain? Khane ke saath koi aisa karta hai bhala?

Kavin:- Sorry yaar Pankaj par kya karu tum sab itne chup chap baithe the to mujhe acha nahi lag raha tha isiliye maine aisa kia.

Purvi (with an irritated face):- Sab chup chap baithe the iska yeh matlab thodi na hain ki aap sabke saath aisa behuda mazak karenge.

Kavin:- Acha baba I am sorry.( While holding his ears) Yeh dekho main apne kaan pakadke sorry bol raha hu.I am sorry.

Purvi smiled a bit and said:- It's ok

Kavin also smiled a bit. And they shared a cute eyelock which was interrupted by Shreya.

Shreya:- But sir aapne isme tha kya?

Daya:- Aree Shreya!! Iss Kavin ne iss mein.......

Chapter khatam!!
First of all thank you so much for the love you guys have showed on my story.
Secondly I am really very very very sorry for taking a whole lot of time but I promise next chapter will come soon.
          Till then sochte raho ki kya tha uss biscuits mein.
