Chapter 2

The late bell rang for Hoseoks second class and the teacher walks in as usual, Hoseok looks around not seeing his friend anywhere thinking to himself where hes at since he didnt message him at all that he wouldn't be here today
"Okay everyone have a seat, we-" the teacher starts off before she was interrupted by someone rushing in
"I'm sorry I'm late Mrs. Yun!" A kid came in the room slightly panting making everyone look up at him
"Just hurry to your seat Mr. Choi, the bell only rang a few seconds ago, if it was a few minutes that would be another story now go on" she says and gestures to his seat, he starts walking to sit down and smiles at his friend while hes at it as he sits down
"Why are you late" Hoseok says as his friend takes his seat next to him while the teacher continues to speak
"As I was saying class..."
"Just my first hour teacher keeping the class again, I hate when he does that coz we get in trouble because of him" he says rolling his eyes while Hoseok chuckles before they both turn their attention back to their teacher who was still speaking
"...So I want you guys to be good to him okay" she says expecting everyone to answer and agree
"Yes Mrs. Yun!" The class says in unison, well, for the most part with kids who weren't paying attention answering late
"Okay then, you can come in now!" Mrs. Yun yells out loud enough for the student outside to hear.

Both Hoseok and his friend Youngjae were confused on what she was talking about so they just looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders, Youngjae then turns around to ask the student behind him what the teacher said since they both wanted to know
"Hey Tess, who is she telling to come in" Youngjae asked
"This new transfer student who I guess is a Junior smart enough to be in a senior class" the girl bluntly says, and right on cue he hears the door close and turns back around to see the boy walking to the front of the classroom, he then whispers into Hoseoks ear to give him the deets
"Tess said the teacher said hes a transfer student but hes a junior"
"Oh okay" Hoseok replies as they watch the student stand there
"Would you like to introduce yourself to the class now" the teacher said making the boy look at her then back at the rest of the students
"Hi, I'm Jungkook, I hope we get along" he says with a slight smile.

"Wait, if hes a junior then why is he in this class, this is a senior class" Hoseok whispers to Youngjae
"Oh yeah I forgot, I guess hes really smart that's why" he whispers back
"Oh-"
"Mr. Jung and Mr. Choi!" The teacher cuts them off making them flinch a bit and look forward
"Why are you interrupting my class, and you are also being rude to the new student" she scolded
"S-sorry Mrs. Yun" Hoseok said
"Yeah sorry Mrs. Yun" Youngjae said right after more calmly since he is a beta wolf
"I'm not the only one you should be apologizing to" the teacher said, obviously talking about the new student Jungkook, they both glance at each other and Youngjae quickly whispers to Hoseok
"Bro I forgot his name you go first"
"No, I did too" he whispered back
"You two boys better stop whispering and quickly apologize to Jungkook" the teacher scolded again
"Oh! Okay, sorry Jungkook I hope we weren't being rude dont worry we weren't talking about you or anything" Youngjae says with a smile and a bow feeling a little embarrassed afterwards as a few students giggled and making Hoseok want to facepalm giving him a look of 'are you serious' but was soon snapped out of it by the teacher.

Betas are more laid back out of the three ranks and for the most part speak freely hense why Youngjae is responding the way he is.

"Mr. Jung you too" the teacher said making Hoseok quickly look over at her again then at the new student making eye contact
"Oh, I'm-" he started off but paused as he looked into the boys eyes which looked quite familiar, then it hit him, it's the same boy who almost hit him this morning, well he was in the car that almost hit him but still
"Mr. Jung we dont have all day and I'm sure Mr. Jeon doesnt want to stand here the whole class period either" she scolded again
"Oh I-Im sorry, for both holding up the class and for also being rude to you J-Jungkook" he says with a bow looking at both the teacher and Jungkook getting embarrassed with all the attention on him and for stuttering Jungkooks name, all Jungkook did was a slight bow towards the two before the teacher gave further instructions
"Well now that that's settled, Mr. Jeon, you can take a seat over there next to Mr. Kang" she said pointing to the empty desk in the farthest corner from the door, which was also on the opposite end of where Hoseok and Youngjae were sitting.
