The last thing Laiba wanted to do that night, was attend a party!

But since Aariz had once made a big deal of her staying back home alone, she decided to not cause a scene and pushed herself to get ready for the night instead.

Zipping open her suitcase, she picked out a mustard coloured turtle neck sweater, charcoal grey long skirt, chequered pashmina for hijab, black ankle boots and a bright yellow satchel to go with the look.

Changing into the chosen clothes, she put on a nude make up on herself and tied her hair into a high pony tail before covering her hair with the hijab and pinning wherever it was necessary. She curled her eyelashes several times to make it look longer and reapplied her lipstick before she sat down to wear her boots.

Laiba was struggling with the zipper of her boots, when her cellphone beeped a message.

She glanced at her cellphone which was sitting on the couch beside her and read the text on the notification bar on the lock-screen.

Come down.

It was from Aariz.

Grabbing her cellphone in one hand and typing him a reply, Laiba pulled the zipper up with force and let out a breathe of relief when it finally came up. She then rose up from the couch and walked over to the mirror, taking a quick glance at herself one last time and exiting the room.

Downstairs, in front of the building, all of them were already idling around their luxury cars, dressed up in stylish, fashionable clothes.
