He picks and chooses his words as he goes; squinting his eyes and working his way through the maze of her beautiful mind.
"It's because you're the black sheep. You're out of place and you can't hide that from the lens."
He pops the the flash stand up and down. A nervous habit of his.
"Hardly ever do you choose the company of your family over the acceptance of your friends."
Taking her hand in his he kisses the soft spot on her face where hair meets skin.
"You're smile is breathtaking. But it's the most astonishing when you are laughing. Joyful. Incandescently happy."
