Nagising ako sa mainit na pakiramdam ng pagyakap ni Dark sa akin. He’s nuzzling my neck while leaving traces of kisses in my flesh. Napangiti ako. “Good morning, baby D.”

“Good morning to you too, beautiful.” He greeted with a raspy voice.

He briefly kissed my lips then smiled. “So what’s in store for us today? Got any ideas?”

“Mmm… do you wanna go for a swim?”

Umiling ako. It sounds good pero mukhang di ko feel ang weather, baka manigas lang ako sa lamig mahirap na. “Nah, it’s cold.”

Ngumiti siya pagkatapos ay hinalikan ang noo ko bago tumayo. “Let’s go, I have a hot spring. We can tell Katherine to run it.”

Napatayo ako bigla. My eyes wide in excitement. “Weh? Seryoso? Hot spring? Oh my gosh may hot spring ka, Dark? That’s just fantastic!” *___*

Natawa siya. Bigla na lang niya akong binuhat mula sa kama, bridal style. I giggled and wrapped my arms around his neck. Nginitian niya ako and proceeded to stroll out of the room. “The design of this mansion, I based it on what I think you’ll love. I know you don’t like being cold too much. I know that you wanted something homey and refreshing. I know that you don’t like too much styles and an edgy house. I change things from day to day because I always doubt that you’ll like to live in here. Gusto ko… gusto ko kapag nakita mo ‘tong bahay na ‘to, gugustuhin mong gugulin ang buong buhay mo dito. This is where I wanted to spend my life with, Dream. Here with you.”

“I love it alright, Dark. This is… this is where I’ll breathe my last breath. Here with you.” nag-adjust ako ng konti para maabot ang labi niya.

It’s lovely. How I get to spend mornings like this.

“Oh, you guys are up. Anong gusto n’yong almusal?” salubong sa amin ni Katherine na may dalang duffel bag.

“Para sa’n ‘yan?”

“Ah. Pinapasuyo ni Glenn. Eh kasi due date na ni Milena ngayon. So nagpa-pack na kami para dalhin sa hospital si Milena. Maiiwan kayo mamaya dito. Pero don’t worry, maghahanda ako ng kakainin n’yo mamaya.” ^____^

“Manganganak siya? Anong gender ng anak ni Milena?”

“Girl daw eh. Sana maging kasing-ganda ko.” (^u^)/

Napangiti ako. “Sana maging godmother ako.”

Dark smiled to himself. “We’ll both be godparents. Uh, Katherine. Can you run the hot spring? Then you can go help Glenn and Milena upstairs. We can help ourselves with breakfast.”

“Sure kayo? Hot spring lang?”

Tumango kami ni Dark. Agad siyang tumakbo paliko sa isang corridor sa mansyon. Nagtungo kami ni Dark sa kusina. He settled me up the counter habang naghahalungkat sa cupboard. “So… I found cereals, bread, eggs and bacon strips? What do you prefer?”

“Hmm… bread and jam?”

“Alright.” he beamed at me.

Nag-toast siya ng bread sa toaster. Then he brewed coffee habang naghihintay na mag-pop yung bread. Nag-spread siya ng jam sa toasted bread then he passed me one to eat. Maya-maya lang eh tumatakbong lumitaw ng kusina si Katherine. “Mainit na yung tubig, you can get in!”

“Oh, Katherine. Gamitin n’yo yung isang kotse sa garage. Don’t take cabs.” Pahabol na bilin ni Dark sa tumatakbong si Katherine.
