"(Y/N) it's time to sleep. Hurry up so I can tuck you in."

"Oki daddy"

(Y/N) came running down the hall and into their room.

"Pick up! Pick up!"

(Y/N) reached out their arms and Great grabbed them, picked them up, and plafully swung them onto their bed.

"weee!!"

Great chuckled.

"Okay, no more playtime. It's time to sleep."

(Y/N) laid down and pulled the covers ontop of them, letting Great tuck them in.

"Goodnight sunshine. Sleep well."

"goodnight papa"

Great turned kissed them on the forehead and turned off the light, leaving the room and closing the door.

"Sir?"

Great turned around after he closed the door.

"Oh, Emotionless. What's wrong?"

"You have recieved some ally requests."

Great sighed.

"Alright, I'll go over them."

Emotionless nodded, and followed behind Great.

Great was still up, reading the papers and drinking tea.

He heard a knock at his door.

"Come in."

(Y/N) slowly opened the door, their plushie in their hand.

He saw that (Y/N) was trembling and crying, so he got up.

"Sunshine what's wrong, papa's here. It's okay."

"Papa... me.. me scared..."

He picked up (Y/N), soothing their back.

"Shh.. tell papa what happened."

"Big monster.. big monster grabbed me. and-and took me to scawy place"

Great hugged (Y/N) tighter.

"It's okay, papa's here. Come, I'll sleep with you so you don't feel scared, okay?"

(Y/N) rubbed their eyes with their hands.

"Oki"

Great carried them to their bedroom.

He tucked (Y/N) in.

He took off his hat, his coat, his vest, his shoes, his tie, and laid down.

(Y/N) snuggled towards Great, hugging his arm.

They both fell asleep.

Not long after, Emotionless came looking for Great.

That's where Great was most of the times if he wasn't in his office.

Emotionless peeked through the door.

"Sir-"

He saw Great sleeping with (Y/N) snuggled up agaisnt him.

Emotionless nodded.

"I will leave you alone. Goodnight."

And so, Emotionless left. Closing the door and walking back to his own room. Hoping he could get a few hours of rest himself.
