Let's Get To Know You!

Hi reader! So this is my first time writing a story, and I want to make it as easy as possible for you to follow along! I may add in some authors notes as the story goes on, but here is a general basis for some of the descriptors in the story:

(Y/C) - Color of your choice

Your age will be 15 :)
[a/n from the future: You will age through this story, so you're just starting out as 15 but soon to be 16]

You are a "older sibling" figure to Aang

You can somewhat fight (don't worry, you'll pick up some things along the way :D )

Your backstory: You lived in a small earth kingdom colony, that was attacked by the fire navy at the start of the 100 year war. In a last attempt at freedom, your parents sent you to find the Air Nomads to warn them of the threat of imbalance that is creeping up on the horizon. It takes many days, but once you arrived, you told the monks of Fire Lord Sozin. You are accepted as an honorary monk since your home is most likely gone forever, and you make friends with a young monk named Aang. Around a week after your stay in The Southern Air Temple, Aang is informed of his duties as Avatar and doesn't believe that he can save everyone. You catch him while he attempts to escape the temple, and force him to take you with. Little did you know, you will be taken on the adventure of a lifetime.

I'm so excited to start writing for you, and I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update this story for you, but I'll let you know if I would need to take a short break or if something happens.
