                   Mrs.Santos ' POV

           '' It's about you , being one of the best players in playing basketball here in Stanford ''.

        '' huh? bakit? anong meron? ''

        *sighed* '' The championship game is at the same time, same date for the singing contest , what will you do? I know that basketball is important to you but I hope the singing contest is important for you too ''. Yumuko yong ulo ko.

  '' mahirap nga to, pero lalaro ako ''.

   '' pano yong Contest? ''

    '' Pag kami na ang susunod na magpepeform, magpapasub ako agad ''.

    ''  But you don't have to do this singing contest thing Mr. Briton '' sumali sa usapan yong  coach.

   '' no! I have to! I can't let Jada down or the school! so I have to do it coach''.

    '' pero alam mo naman yong kalaban natin diba? WHU yon!  alam mo namang magagaling sila, ayokong mawalan ako ng isang best player sa team !''.

  '' coach! syempre lalaro ako but not throughout the whole game, let Jace to substitute me pag oras na magpepeform na kami ''.

  '' Why Jace? ''.

   '' Kasi alam ko na kaya nya , what choice do we get?  I mean andun rin naman si Drue sa team ehh, galing din kaya nun , tiwala lang coach ''.

  '' sigurado ka na ba sa desisyon mo? ''

'' Oo naman, ano ba naman gagawin ko ? mag se-self cloning? Sa half ng laro ,i'll be there but the half of it , dun na sa theatre.

Noah's POV

(At the hallway )

It's been two days since I've seen Jace, but the point is , I don't want him to be absent in the last day of July, cha-chat ko kaya sya.

'' ow crap! '' na-press ko yong last unread message pa kay Nick . Sya yong nagchat sakin at nagtanong kung saan nagbigay pako ng excuse na nakagat ko dila ko , muntik na yong malaman ni Jada that time , buti nalang talaga, magaling ako sa pagpapalusot.
(Nick's message)

'' It's just about going to Manila and surprise Jada, say sorry and wanted to befriend her , please don't tell this to her ''.

woah! one day ago na text pato ah! sa bagay, sino ba namang gustong gumamit ng messenger kung wala ka namang kachat diba?

'' Okay but my advice is that, please make sure of it and think if it's the right thing to do bro , coz what if she don't want to see you after that harsh break up ''. I replied.

'' Nasali pa nga ako dun ehh '' sabi ko saking sarili.

I've searched Jace Dunbar on messenger para e message request sya , di kasi talaga kami close kaya di rin kami friends sa social media.

'' Hey Jace, I don't know what happened to you and why you didn't go to school these past two days but I have to tell you that you're gonna play during the championship game this coming July 31st ''.

Jace's POV

I was lying on my bed , sleeping when my phone's messenger got ting! I forgot to close my mobile data before going to sleep .

Nung kinuha ko na yong phone ko at tsaka chineck ko na, '' Noah wants to connect with you ''.

Tinignan ko na message requests ko at tsaka binasa yong sa kanya.

'' Can't , I don't know '' I replied.

*ting *

'' why? if you're still thinking about what happen? forget about it , tapos na yon , everyone makes mistakes coz we're just humans , but some of them? we can make it right ''.

I took a deep breath and covered my head with a squared pillow.

*groaned*

'' by the way? why are you absent these past two days? something bothering you rather than being benched or something? ''

'' No , I'm just not feeling well , I got this feverish feeling these few days ''. I replied. '' But okay, I'll think about playing the game this coming July 31, hey wait! did coach knew about this? ''.

'' I told him to substitute me at the half of the game or earlier than that coz at the same time , I'll be performing ''.

'' yah, You will nail it ! I'm sure , congrats on being chosen by the way ''.

'' are you kidding me Jace! you're not there! it should be way more fun if you'd show up ''.

'' yeah, but I have things to do so better leave it , that's what I think ''. That's my last reply and turned off my phone .

Tri-ny kong ipikit muli ang aking mga mata but di parin mawala sa isipan ko yong pag-uwi ko galing sa school bigla nalang ako napa-iyak , medyo nawalan ako ng ganang kumain tas ayon ... parang uminit yong leeg ko at magkakalagnat . Maybe I just got stressed a little bit no? a lot has happened that day , that's for sure.

Jada's POV

Maya-maya, the drama club students still have 2 hours left of practice after di na kami excused sa klase for the day.

Pinatawag ulit ako ni Mrs. Santos sa faculty room and handed me down the combined piece of the song that we're about to perform soon.

Dumiretso ako sa theatre at nakita ko sina Chelsea at yong iba na nakatambay.

While I was looking for the bond paper, binasa ko yong lyrics and tried to make some tune .

'' 🎶 When we're singin' side by side,
There's so much left unspoken, for a moment, just for a moment 🎶''. napangiti ako.

'' wow! anong kanta yan? I never heard of it '' . Wika ni Chelsea.

'' correction! we! never heard of it! marami tayo rito ha! don't you ever forget that '' Dagdag ni Ivey.

'' hmm? esus! ewan ko na lang talaga sayo Ivey '' tumawa na lang si Chelsea.

'' Uhmm , actually this is an original piece ''.

'' you composed that? napaka-talented mo talagang bata ka ''. nagulat si Chelsea.

'' Oo but it's not just me but Noah also, di ko naman alam na magcompose din pala yon tas a minute later after that, we've run into each other dun sa faculty room kung saan sabi ni Mrs. Santos naging connected daw yong nagawang kanta namin .Pero huy! di ako talented ahh ''.

'' wow! pero di naman yan scripted siguro no? '' tanong ni Ivey.

'' Ewan ko! malay ko ba , baka stinalk lang talaga ako nun ni Noah '' sagot ko.

'' ehemm '' may nag cle-clears throat.
