Dream

I have a dream~
Everyone's dream,
Lays deep inside their heart.
It's a matter of time,
Till your walls fall apart;
Thus making you realize,
That your path needs to start.

Me myself being honest,
It's my wish to be a star,
To be known as an actress,
In Hollywood and afar.

I know for the record,
That my dream is cliche.
It's in everybody's goal,
Hence my statement is touché.

Through the years though,
I realize,
It's not the fame that I want.
It's the process of change,
And the pride i may've flaunt.

The pride from my family,
The acceptance of my mates.
respect from worlds around me,
Would've opened me the gates-

To a place of neverland,
Children's world of paradise;
Where my wisdom would've gowned,
It's silky drapes of a worthy price.
A worthy price for me,
That's the pride of mother's glee.

What I'm saying is,
I want the world to change,
To stop the earth from falling apart;
From human's hands of rage.

Re-establishing human rights,
Stopping poverty,
Ending fights.

Putting an end to:
Sexism and world pollution.
Homophobia and racism,
Would lead to retribution.

Yet being an actress,
Is still my passion every day.
Impersonating a part,
Of an aspiringly known play.

To be filled with complications,
Embracing emotions to the screen.
To provoke a tear of sadness,
From critics that I've never seen.

My life goal is
To cause change and be remembered,
Doing things that I love;
Till sometime in late November-

When I'd grow older,
And I'd flick through the pages,
Of the memories I had in the past.
I'd see all the achievements I've reached through all stages,
Realizing things that had had to last.

My life would be written,
Through glory and pain;
And I'd feel like I'm living,
All over again.

It's not over 'till it's all been done,
It's still not over 'till your last breath is gone.
So, I'll try to change the world till the power fades away,
And I'll sleep in my victory,
At the end of the day.
