" 𝐖𝐄𝐋𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 !" read the large, brightly colored sign at the entrance of my high school. I sighed heavily and rolled my shoulders while making a slight attempt to give myself a pep talk. It's my last year, Senior year, no matter how much I despise being at this shitty school, in this shitty neighborhood, I have to make the most of it. Right?
My summer break didn't exactly go as planned, well.. it did, but some unexpected events took place that I'd rather not speak on. Let alone see him.. but let's just.. not think about that.
It wasn't even school that I was "afraid" of. It was facing the shit I'd done over the summer that I hadn't prepared for at all. I don't necessarily regret, but I wish I would've thought things through before I'd lost a good ass friendship over something dumb.
I feel like an idiot.
Anyways, I sighed once more and started to walk closer towards the building. I think my best option is to just avoid people. The less contact, the less issues, right? I think so.. sort of.
