"Sea disasters are totally better than air disasters!"

"No there not! Air disasters are more powerful"

"If that were the case then I wouldn't be--"

"Your both wrong anyway. None of them are the best because the Undead trumps everything"

"You're dad is just a deadbeat--"

"And like your dad is any better --"

I look between the three arguing cousins, my eyes wide and my head swinging back and forth like I was watching a tennis match. To be honest I have absolutely no clue how we ended up here with the three teenagers arguing and me looking helplessly between them, I had already tried to get them to stop but found myself unable to get a word in edgeways

Suddenly the three of them burst into laughter and my eyes widen even more, I swear just a moment ago they were all arguing and now they are acting like the argument never happened. Out of the corner of my eyes I see someone snapping their fingers in front of my face and I realise they were trying to get my attention so I snap out of my daydream with a blink

"Are you three quite done?" I asked with my arms folded and trying to keep my face straight

Percy sticks his tongue out, ruffling my brown hair "You know you love us"

"Not when you act like children" I argue swatting his hand away

"We always act like children" Thalia interjected, a smirk on her lips "Yet you're still here"

"Touche"

"Anyway when are the others going to come?" Nico asked, cocking his head to the side

Thalia and Percy look at each other, a mischievous glint in their eyes, that I've only know the three cousins to get before they look at Nico a ghost of a smirk appearing on their lips "What? You missing your boyfriend?"

A blush covered the youngest cousins face as his eyes lock onto Percy with deadly accuracy and a murderous look crosses his face, the room going colder and once again Thalia and Percy share a glance at one another before darting off in different directions leaving Nico to glance between them before finally deciding and running after Percy Jackson

I sigh, standing in the middle in the room

The door swings open and Annabeth walks in followed closely and quickly by the rest of the cousins friends and when she sees me standing in the middle of the room helpless at what to do and Nico, Thalia and Percy running around my apartment she sighs and puts her head in her hands before seizing Percy and Nico up by the collars of their shirt the next time the run past "I leave you three alone with Danielle for five minutes and you cause our guest grief and nearly destroy her apartment"

"He started it" Nico and Percy pointed at each other, shouting

"I don't care" Annabeth snapped "Where's Thalia?"

"Here" Thalia breathed out, appearing in the doorway

"Gods you three are worse than Leo!" Annabeth told them

"Hey!" An elfish looking boy exclaimed "I'm right here"

"Sorry Leo" Annabeth muttered but she didn't look very sorry at all and the elfish boy noticed this and frowned before he started to fiddle with the tool belt he had around his waist and a girl with dark skin and beautiful molten gold eyes lays a hand on Leo's shoulder in either company or sympathy I didn't know

"Are we going to do this?" A buff Chinese boy asks, his face etching into a smile

"As soon as she lets us go" Nico grumbled, the room once again growing cold

A boy who was around Nico's age shouted "How many times have I told you not to do that?"

"Too many times" Nico pouted as Annabeth let the two grown children go

Before another argument could break out between the people I step in deciding I had enough of looking like a helpless person in front of so many people, I may know Annabeth from school and I had met Percy, Nico and Thalia on multiple occasions since Percy was Annabeth's boyfriend and Nico and Thalia were Percy's cousins but I had never met the other people, I started walking out as I exclaimed "Lets go! I could do with a cooling dip the weather is too hot"

Percy immediately picked Annabeth up and threw her over his shoulder causing the blonde haired girl to shriek as she started to hit Percy's bare chest and she looks over to her friends, a pleading look in her eyes but all they do is smile and wave back at her, then her gaze slides over to me "Dani! Can you help me?"

"Sorry Annie, you're on your own!" I smirked to which some people snickered

Annabeth scowls "Don't call m--"

"Annie" I finish for her "I know. I know"

We were all outside by now and Percy literally sprinted towards the pool that I had in my back garden and he dive bombed into it, holding a shrieking Annabeth close to his chest  and I waited for them to resurface but after a few minutes a pretty girl with Cherokee skin rolled her eyes "How long are they going to be down there?"

"Why? How long can they normally hold their breathes for?" I ask curiously

The girl shrugged "A very long time"

"C'mon Pipes you know who Percy's Dad is" A guy with blonde hair and glasses put his hands around her waist and it didn't take me long to figure out that the two of them were together, especially since Piper snuggled into his chest

"Who is Percy's Dad?" I ask

The guy smirked and answered mysteriously "Someone who has an infinity to water"

So I guess that's why Percy was so heated about the sea disasters earlier because his dad apparently really likes water and a million other questions pop into my head to do with everyone in the room but judging by the mysterious answer I got earlier I knew I wasn't going to get a straight answer so I kept the questions close to my chest for now

Percy and Annabeth suddenly appeared out the water, wet hair sticking to the forehead's and necks and they lean in for a kiss but before they could I kicked up the water from the pool and it went spraying in their faces and after wiping the chlorinated water from their eyes they locked eyes with me and immediately I was pulled under the water and I resurfaced only a minute half choking and half laughing

It was a good day, we all had a good time
