No Drugs, Alcohol or Boys

As soon as the plane was over 17,000 feet up, I put it into autopilot & made my wayover to the bathroom.

 

Before I could make it my iPhone was obnoxiously vibrating until it fell off my seat.

 

I quickly answer it without looking at caller ID & yelled “What Bijou! This better be important to interrupt my repo!” I hiss

 

“So that’s why your car wasn’t out here,” she laughs “anyways I thou-“

 

“Bijou, I’m doing a repo!” I cut her off

 

“B-but…” she whispers

 

“No buts Bijou, this is an expensive plane.” I say

 

“I bet you have it on autopilot, as I was saying, I thought we could go shopping for your first day of school outfit!” she squeals

 

“Bee, I told you already, I’m not going back to Woodberry.” I respond

 

I can just feel her smile disappearing right off her face

 

“Oh.” She says flatly “I’ll just go to the mall by myself.”

 

“No Bee, ugh, fine I’ll go shopping with you.” I groan

 

“YES!” she screams

 

 

 

I landed the plane at its new home, & then drove to my old home.

 

I pulled up in the driveway to see Bijou talking with my dad.

 

“I’ll consider it, but you’re the one that has to get Jordyn on board with it.” He said while scratching his chin

 

“She’ll be on board in no time Mr. Callahan.” She smiles “I’m great at convincing people”

 

“You ready to go Jor?” she smiles

 

“Yep, let me just make sure I have enough snacks for the ride.” I check my bag

 

“Jordyn, your bag is filled with Nutter Butter cookies.” She gaps

 

“Yep” I smirk

 I head over to her car

“SHOTGUN” I yell

“Damn it” she groans

 

“You girls stay safe out there, no drugs-“

“Alcohol or boys.” Bijou & I say in unison

 

“Good girls” he pats our heads & goes inside

We both head in her car & speed out of the driveway

 

Bijou then looks at me with pleading eyes

 

“Will you tell me the real reason you dropped out of high school?” she asks

 

I gulped
