Chapter 11

*Sophia's Pov*

I woke up hearing the sound of rain. I opened my eyes and remembered that I was still stuck in this motel.

Xavier stirred beside me and his eyes opened and his green orbs awoke with life.

"Good morning" he said yawning.
"Morning" I said cracking my neck and then hissing in pain.

"What's wrong?" Xavier asked alarmed.

"Nothing" I said while walking into the bathroom with Xavier following.

Xavier looked at my neck and I noticed it was a little red. He kissed the mark which automatically made it feel a lot better.

"Thanks" I said smiling and going to the bags to get my toothbrush.

I brushed my teeth while Xavier did the same.

Xavier then laid on the bed while I grabbed a mint green polka dotted dress with my mint green vans and headed into the bathroom.

I took another shower and dressed, and then I put on some vanilla scented perfume.

I walked out of the bathroom and put my hair in a side braid.

Xavier went into the bathroom and I heard the shower running, so I turned on the television.

He came out of the bathroom 10 minutes later wearing dark jeans and a black shirt that showed off his muscles.

"What would you like to do today?" He asked me joining me on the bed.

Hmmm...what did I want to do today?

"I don't know. Maybe get breakfast and explore wherever we are. Wait where are we?" I asked Xavier.

"Los Angeles" Xavier replied.

"Oh...cool" I said thinking about the city of Angels.

"Yeah, I saw a diner not far from here, maybe about 5 minutes tops. Would you like to go there?" He asked.

"Sure" I said smiling, grabbing my phone, and walking out the door with Xavier behind me.

There was no one in the lobby or at the front desk seeing as there was a sign saying "on break, back in 5".

Xavier picked me up and carried me bridal style, while using his alpha speed he carried me to the car with not an inch of water on my body.

He got in the car and we drove to a diner that was literally 5 minutes away.

I walked in the door and a bell rung as the door opened. A friendly blonde woman who looked to be in her mid 40s greeted us.

"It's raining cats and dogs out there isn't it? Well you two kids must be starving. Table for two I'm assuming." Xavier nodded and we followed her to a booth in the back.

"You're server will be right with you" she said smiling while I smiled back and she left.

A bleached blonde teenage girl came up to us. "Hi my name is Bethany and I'll be taking care of you." She said while looking at her notebook. "Can I offer you all some drinks?" After she said that she finally looked up and she stared at Xavier and gave him a flirtatious smile.

"Two coffees" Xavier said coldly while her facade didn't affect him whatsoever.

"Okay, be right back." She said still checking him out.

She came back and gave us our drinks while we Xavier and I ordered pancakes.

After eating our pancakes, while Bethany obnoxiously asking us how our food was as an excuse to flirt with Xavier, we were finally paying the bill.
