Where the hell is my phone, I've been looking for it for two days now. I went to the toilet and then when I came back it vanished

I do downstairs again and ask my mum the same question I keep asking her

"have you seen it?" I ask her with a sigh

"no, I tried to phone it but nothing happened" she says to me with a reasurring smile

"well I guess I'll have to look for it later, I'm meeting Hayden soon" I tell her as I put my shoes on

"okay have a fun time Lovely" my mum says sweetly as I open the door and leave

I don't understand. Where could it be?

I walked to the place Hayden told me to meet him which was the beach. I've always liked beaches, they're so relaxing

I wave to him once I see him looking at me

"hey" I say walking up to him smiling

"Hey, you look gorgeous" he says and gives me a soft kiss

"so how've you been?" he asks me as we start walking across the sand

"I've been good, how've you been?" I ask him. Wow this conversation is boring why am I so awkward

"good" he smiles

"hey Hayden" this girl smiles as we walk past her

"hey Valerie" he smiles back

"who's that?" I ask him curiously

"no need to get jealous love" he laughs

"she's my friend from my childhood" he tells me. Aw like Daniel and I

"aww that's nice" I smile as we keep walking

"so who exactly where those boys in that groupchat?" he ask me confused

"they're my friends, they all live in America so that sucks" I say with a sigh at the end

"just your friends?" he asks me seeming to get a different idea

"yes" i say getting annoyed as I roll my eyes at him

"hey look, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be getting jealous" he says softly

"it's fine" I tell him

"hey" he says and turns me around

"I mean it. I'm sorry I just really like you and I shouldn't be questioning your friendships" he says sounding sorry

"hey I told you it's fine" I say and kiss him cheek and give him a smile so he knows I'm not mad at him

"so when are you working?" he asks me changing the conversation quickly

"tomorrow" I sigh. I like my job but I don't like working

"well I hope you have a good day" he smiles

"thanks, look I have to go home my mum needs my help with something" I tell him awkwardly

"that's fine, I'll text you okay" he smiles

I just nod my head and go back home. Of course my mum doesn't need help with anything I just want to find my phone

It was quite boring not being able to walk home looking at my phone. But then I heard sirens drive into my street. I don't think they're going to my house. Surely not

But for some reason i ran into my street and I see two police cars parked outside of my house

What the hell is this bullshit

I slowly approach them and my mum was talking to them

"hey is everything okay?" I ask awkwardly

"sweetheart I lied to you, I had your phone and I messaged your friends. I had to" she tells me calmy

"why?" I ask shocked

"because your dad is coming to visit you" she tells me sounding worried. I haven't seen my Dad since I was eight he was taken by police for drunk driving and almost setting our house on fire cause he thought my mum was cheating

Yeah so he started alot of drama in our family

"and what does me messaging my friends have to do with this?" I ask her confused

"because I don't want him to get your information from your phone" she tells me. Is she for real? I think she's being a tad bit over dramatic

"look Miss?" the police officer says looking at me waiting for an Answer

"Erwin" I say to him

"Liani Erwin can I talk to you for moment, don't worry you're mum said it's up to you if you want to talk or not" he says with a comforting smile

"sure" I say and follow him just over to the pavement so we can talk

"so do you know anything else about your dad we should be worried about for your safety?" he asks me as he takes his notepad out

"I'm honestly not sure, I haven't seen him in years" I say awkwardly as I stratch my arm

"that's okay Liani, I'll talk to your mum for a few more seconds then we'll be gone for today but if you need us make sure to tells us okay" he smiles

"okay thank you sir" I say with a awkward smile

We walk back over to my mum

"alright if yous have any problems make sure to contact us as soon as possible" he smiles

"thanks Andrew" my mum says to him. Oh they must know each other

"also let your daughter have her phone, it shouldn't be a problem for her to text friends" he smiles and walks away

"here" she says and hands me back my phone with a smile

"thank you" I say and go back inside

I look at my phone and I completely forgot it has been two days and wow people are already assuming I'm dead
