Bill knew exactly how Kay felt, and he felt guilty for all those who tried to comfort him when he lost Georgie. She had just lost a sibling, and came to him for comfort. It was hard to know what to say to someone grieving... so, he didn't say anything. He just let her cry on his shoulder, knowing that was the most he could do. It was hard seeing her in such a different state than normal, and really difficult to watch her cry. She was his crush after all.
