Looking around the classroom, I sighed. Again no one is talking to me. It's not like they ever attempt to talk to me. I hummed softly, trying to keep my mind from wondering home. That was something to avoid thinking about it. I shook my head and sang to my self quietly.

You're a mess
Tangled with your confidence
You think you haven't sinned

Well, your unstoppable
Your walls are impassible, oh

I think your better off looking alone
The boys that chase your hips can just go find their way home
And at the end of the day
You think to yourself,
"My body is a product being sold on a shelf"

Tell me I can change
Tell me I can change

Well, I know you're laying back
Contemplating your own death
Well just look at what you've done
Don't you dare forget the sun, love
(Don't forget)

Cold white walls
Keep you from your pad and pen
You just wanna stab again
I can't believe its
Half this hard
You never knew your mind was dark, no

I think you're better off looking alone
The boys that chase your hips can just go find their way home
You can dig so deep for scars
You never knew your mind was dark

Come on and breathe with me, oh
Breathe with me, OH

Well, I know you're laying back
Contemplating your own death
Well just look at what you've done
Don't you dare forget the sun, love

You look down on me
So casually
In everything I know
You look down on me
But not right on me
Did I wreck this broken home?

Dear Diary,
Life is trying me
Can I get a sign?
Or two of mind
A piece of mind
Oh, can I get a sign?
Can I get a sign?

Well, I know you're laying back
Contemplating your own death
Well just look at what you've done
Don't you dare forget the sun, love

You look down on me
So casually
In everything I know
You look down on me
But not right on me
Is it plain to see that
Life is trying me
Life is trying me!
Life is trying-
Can I think of something?
Gotta think of something

I blinked away tears as the bell rang. Do I have to go home? Can I just hang around at the old abandoned playground? No. If I avoid it, it would only backfire on me. I would always get hurt if I don't make dinner before he gets home. I groaned and looked up at the crystal blue sky. Why did you leave me Momma, Papa? Why did you leave me with him? I walked faster as my house came into view.

As soon as I walked through the door, I threw my bag down and rushed into the kitchen. I quickly began making spaghetti and chicken. Once done I set the food on the dinning room table and layed down one plate. Grabbing my bag, I started my walk to the abandoned playground. I gave a sigh of relief. At least he doesn't care if I leave the house as long as I do what he wants. I entered the park and breathed in the familiar sent of rusted metal and musky wood.

I plopped down on one of the swings, hearing it whine and squeak with protest of my weight. I pulled my homework out of my back and began working on it. a little while later I heard soft footsteps coming near me. I glance up from behind my blonde bangs and saw a girl around my age standing before me. She was... Rather attractive. Yes I like girls, deal with it. She had velvet red hair that fell a couple inches below her shoulders, warm milk chocolate eyes, and a bubbly smile. She looks like one of those girls I would usually avoid. I blinked and returned to reading my book.

"Hello!" She chirped.

"Hi..." I murmured.

"I'm Kalyani. I just moved here." Her voice was practically drawing me into the conversation that I didn't want to have.

"I'm... Rebel."

"Rebel," She quirked an eyebrow. "That's a... Unique name,"

I felt the corners of my mouth twitch upwards."Its not my real name. Isn't your name unusual too?"

"Fuck you, my name's amazing." Kalyani laughed, waving me off.

"Whatever you say, friend." I smirked, closing my book.

"Hehe~" She giggled.

I laughed quietly along side her. She nudged me, winking.

"I like you, friend. You seem cool." She told me, copying my speech style.

"You as well." I nodded. "Well, I better get home."

"See you around, Reb!" She called as I jogged towards home.

Even though she couldn't see me, I smiled. I look forward to seeing you again too, friend...
