"No one can make tea like Uncle, but hopefully I learned a thing or two." Says Zuko

"I made fire noodles." I say

"Do you guys in the fire nation just name everything after fire?" Asks Sokka

"Pretty much." Zuko says

Zuko continues pouring people tea.

"Hey Zuko, can I talk to you for a second." Says Sokka

I watch them leave the room together

Night

----------

I watch Sokka try to sneak off.

I quietly follow.

I watch Appa awake

"Not up to anything huh?" I hear Zuko say

Sokka falls. I continue to listen in.

"Fine you caught me. I'm gonna rescue my dad. Are you happy now?" Says Sokka

"I'm never happy." Says Zuko

"Never happy huh?" I say walking into their window of sight.

"Amara!" They say shocked to see me.

"Look, I have to do this. The invasion plan was my idea, it was my decision to stay when things were going wrong. It's my mistake, and it's my job to fix it. I have to regain my honor. You can't stop me, Zuko." says Sokka

"You need to regain your honor? Believe me, I get it. I'm going with you." Says Zuko

"So am I." I say

"People will know who you are with your kind of scars." Says Zuko

"I can cover it, and also I'm sure there are other people like me." I say

"I'm going alone." Says Sokka

"How are you going to get there? On Appa? Last time I checked prisons don't have bison daycares."

"Let's take my war balloon." Says Zuko

----------------

"Um.. Pretty clouds.." says Sokka

"Yeah fluffy." Says Zuko

"How do you feel?" Asks Zuko

"I'm okay." I say

I finish covering up my arm.

"You know a friend of mine actually designed these war balloons." Says Sokka

"No kidding." Says Zuko

"Yep a balloon, but for war.." Sokka says

"If it's one thing my father's good at, it's war." Says Zuko

"Yeah it seems to run in the family." Says Sokka

"Wait not everyone in my family is like that." Says Zuko

"Yeah I know, you've changed." Says Sokka

"Actually I was talking about my uncle. He was more of a father to me than my own father." Says Zuko sadly

"I think he'd be proud of you. Leaving your home to come help us. That's hard. Both of you." Says Sokka

"Not really." Says Zuko

"You didn't leave anyone you cared about behind?" Asks Sokka

"We had a very close friend Mai." He says
