And the fire burns.
The meat from my bones
and the bones to dust.
The fire burns because it must.
To stop burning would mean its end.
Therefore the fire I must tend.
Let it breathe and let it singe.
Now the fire's on a binge!
Ravenously it devours all.
Its own hunger will be its fall.
For when there's nothing left to eat,
so must at last die down the heat!
