Ryujin was completely head over heels for Hwang Yeji. Unfortunately, Yeji never noticed her throughout high school.

"You ready Ryu?" I heard Hyunjin call out from outside. I looked at my reflection and scanned my whole body. From my black shorts to my white Versace crop top, paired with my Versace jacket and sighed,
"It's now or never," I whispered.

I looked at myself one last time and walked out. Hyunjin looked over at me and lowly whistled as his eyes scanned me from head to toe.
"Yup, Yeji will definitely forgive your stupidity," he teased. I rolled my eyes and walked past him,
"Shut it."

"Are they here yet?" I called out to Hyunjin over the loud music. I internally cringed not liking the way the beat of the music echoed in my ears and drummed against my chest. It made my nerves to see Yeji even worse. Hyunjin looked over the crowd then smiled,
"Yeah! They're right there! Jinny over here!" He yelled out. Jinny looked over at us and smiled and the moment my eyes looked behind her, my mouth dropped.

She looked absolutely stunning. Her Fendi top paired with her eye-catching neon overcoat is so satisfying to see, making people turn their heads as if she's a model owning the runway. Her pigtail hairstyle swaying from side to side when she move looked perfect.
But the moment I met her eyes I felt nervous. Behind her beautiful makeup, she had a sad look.
Her eyes met mine but immediately looked away.
Did she not want me here?
"I don't think this is a good idea Jin! It doesn't look like she wants to see me!" I whispered/yelled to him. Hyunjin waved dismissively at me and shook his head,
"Stop overthinking and get your girl!" He yelled at me before turning his attention to Jinny and Yeji who stood in front of us.
"Hey girls!" Hyunjin greeted. While I stood next to him and sent an awkward wave to the both of them. I looked over to Yeji and smiled, well tried to.
"H-hi Yeji, you uh look great," I stammered out, mentally beating myself up for sounding so pathetic. Yeji looked down and fiddled with her fingers,
