A/N: I personally think that it's a poor attempt, but in any case, here I go:
O pleasant wonder that is wine,
When taken after good men dine!
Thereafter, they see stars fall down
From heaven’s glorious golden crown.
Come, hear the laughter that it brings –
The man who drinks it, hear him sing!
“It’s sorrow’s balm”, I heard him say…
“My earthly woes, it shooed away!”
I wonder why this miracle
Was never one they did foretell?
Was it because of truth that comes
From tongues of those who’ve drunken rum?
