Fly-Yokai!Hoshiumi Korai X Yokai!OC(1)

   (A/n: NOTE: you don't have to read this super long A/n.

   So, some of you may have heard of Yokai before. For those who don't know, Yokai is a general term for a type of Japanese monster. There are many different types of Yokai. I will explain the ones that are mostly mentioned in the story below:

1. Obake:
Obake is basically any creature that has the ability to shap shift into a human form. Some of the more commonly portrayed animal forms the creatures took on were foxes, raccoon dogs, badgers, or cats. In most traditional Japanese mythology stories, Obake would take on the form of a beautiful woman to trick humans.

2. Tengu
Tengu are Japanese bird monsters that took on a human form. They commonly have large noses when in human form. In the old days, they were seen as corrupt, but in modern lore they are known as complex characters with a good side. They fiercely protect sacred Japanese forests.

3. Kappa
Kappa are river monsters that were based off of Japanese Giant Salamanders. Most myths have them drowning bystanders and causing problems. They also are depicted with good qualities. They know Japanese, and are said to like wrestling matches. (Don't ask, I don't know either.) The myth also had some purpose. Parents in Japan would tell their children not to swim alone in rivers, or the Kappa would get them.

4. Tsukimogami
Tsukumogami are inanimate objects that became animate and self aware after 100 years. Traditionally, they are known to be common house hold items, for example, an umbrella or a sandal may become one. There are many other object that can change like this. Tsukumogami are said to be ghost like in existence and can shapeshifte into a human form.

5. Yamauba
These monsters are described to be old women who look unkept. They live deep in the mountains. On some occasions, they are described with hideous features, such as a mouth on the top of their head. The pretend to be kind old women to trick humans into doing terrible things.

   I know I said there were a lot, but for the most part I won't be using their lore just because having that much is complicated. I apologise if that annoys you.

   So, how I will be doing this is half of the Characters will be Obake/ Tengu, and the other will be human. I will label who is who underneath:
