Laughs once echoed through the room
so repetitively,
Two girls,
harmless was the middle name.
Never were they responsible for
serious blame. Old names of old
friends left the lips of the two without
question.
But never was the world so perfect.
The two began to experience what
every two does.
Laughter couldn't drop out of their
mouths all the time.
It seemed as though tears popped out
of their eyes in a symmetric rhyme.
High fives and blown kisses were no
more.
Arms tightly around one another, in a
way that made the body sore.
Years pass,
The two clash ,
But each girl keeps their innocence,
As every girl does and has before.
