Lisa walk towards her office and ended the call with Jisoo. Jisoo is either late because she didn't wake up early or she's still playing video games.
It's been years since the break up. She became a totally different Lisa infront of everyone else. She became less talkative, less bubbly and mostly serious CEO of 315 entertainment but unlike Jennie, Lisa doesn't get mad at her employees very easily she talk to them nicely but her mysterious presence intimidate people around her. The name of the company came from each of their birth month, Lisa who was born March, Jisoo who was born January and Bambam who was born May. It is also the date they opened the company, March 15.. 6 years ago. To some people Lisa barely changed like Jisoo, Bambam, Jackson, Rosie and Somi but they knew that something about Lisa really did change. It seems like her vocabulary have been narrowed down to a few words. After the break up Lisa worked hard and quit the company when she saved some money. She told Bambam she wanted to put up the company in London. Her money wasn't enough so she took out some loan and accepted a lot of job offers for a couple of months. Bambam invested and Jisoo joined them in London. While she's working as a choreographer for some other label she attracts a couple more investor. Lisa didn't even bother checking out every building... she chose the expensive building that Jennie didn't choose back then. They spent a year finishing up every side of the building while also hiring employees. When they open up the company they started doing auditions in the company and online. They chose individuals and trained them for 3 years. Once Lisa's sure about it she debuted 1 woman. She was so sure of her that she immediately made it to some charts on a high position and that boosted the popularity of their company. Lisa trained the girl with Jisoo but Lisa wasn't really the type of person who get personal relationship with her artist such as friendship. Artist and trainees in their company are intimidated by Lisa but they respect her a lot. Jisoo is the type of person who are so nice to their employees and idols which makes everyone love her. Bambam barely visits but when he does everyone admires him for being cool and laid back. Lisa's mostly inside her office but she sometimes check the trainees and sometimes train them. Jisoo, Lisa and Bambam are also the one who check them out during their monthly evaluations. So far 315 Ent. already debut 2 groups, male and female and 3 solo artists 2 female and 1 male. Since they are based in London all of their idols have worldwide market and not just in South Korea.
A knock from the door snap Lisa out of her thoughts as she look towards the door and saw Jisoo walking in with her casual clothes on. She remove her own coat and put it on a rack right beside her chair
Lisa's POV
"You look like a trainee more than a boss" I said
"You were the one who pushed me to literally go here without dressing up" she said making me chuckle as I wave my hand off
"Go change" I said since she have some clothes on her office anyway. She stick out her tongue before going out of my office. I open up my computer and first thing I saw is a dating news with one of our artist which I'm not aware.
"Boss" my secretary calls out as she walk inside my office without knocking "oh I forgot to knock" she said bowing down to apologize "you're needed in the conference room" I nodded without asking for a reason since it must've been about the dating news. I grab my coat and put it back on. I go straight to Jisoo's office and knock. In just a couple of seconds she open it up already dressed up
"Meeting" I said shortly before heading straight to the conference room. Once Jisoo and I entered some stockholders and staffs are already there. Jisoo walk towards a seat since she just let me talk on our behalf everytime we're here she'll just speak if she will state her opinion. I look around the room and the artist involved in the dating news is currently sitting right beside her manager on the other end of the table
"Is the dating news true?" I ask standing infront with my hands in my pocket while looking at the girl
"No Ms Lisa.."
"If you want your label to help you then tell us the truth" I said making her nod her head slowly "confirm the dating news" I said towards one of our staff
"Wouldn't that affect the stocks?" One stockholder said
"Why would it?"
"Some people may be in favor of the relationship and some may not be"
"Are you in favor of the relationship or are you planning to pull your stocks out?" I ask the same stockholder who said that
"I need your artist to focus on their crafts and not date" he said
"Does that make her less talented?"I ask making him shake his head
"But if she won't put enough effort then what's the use of her talent? I'll pull back my stocks if so" he said firmly
"I don't care" Jisoo immediately snap her head to look at me "dating doesn't make her less talented and being talented doesn't make her less of a human which means she can date who she wants to date. I can lose your shares but I can't lose my artist. We're done here" I said as I leave the room with Jisoo on my side
"You seem in favor of the relationship " she said while we're walking through the hallway
"I just don't want anyone to step on our artist"
"Or... you just know the feeling of not being approved by someone close to your partner" she said making me stop from walking... she's referring to Jennie's mom. She keeps saying things about Jennie for years and she doesn't really move on from it
6 years is very long. I can say I realized the turning point of our relationship. I realized what she did wrong and what I did wrong that's why I don't really put all the blame on her now. But it just seems hard for me to stay the same towards Jennie.
Don't get me wrong.. I don't hate her, I just don't love her like I used to anymore.
