PROLOGUE
Thirty-three years seems ephemeral for this individual’s life but, according to my century’s capricious mortality, a greater number of years than many a wretched soul has been granted.
This intimate episodic account has been deliberately wrought for the sceptical, and there will be many such who, curious of its contents, will mull it over if they have a mind.
The script lays bare the sequence of my remorseful life and those who doggedly read on will, I trust, charitably agree that the theatricalities to which I resorted were excusably acted out. Frankly, I am far more sincere than my reputation gives credit. I have sustained intense love, both physical and emotional, for females and males alike, although on occasion I appeared ruthless, insensitive yet sometimes cowardly to several who dared cross my path. With heartfelt gratitude, I salute them all.
I surrender this testimony of my life and have laid bare some obscure events, the truth of which is for you to ponder upon.
