Roses are handed wondrous,
You'd be attached to it's beauty,
You'd long for it's scent,
But it doesn't always stay that way.
Time will lose its beauty and scent,
It may all fade, but it's still a rose.
The rose you held, the rose that you loved.

Many times I've failed,
I once rested with aching heart,
But I won't let it get in my way.
All I know is that I wanted you,
I will never stop.

Promises are kept,
And if you told me one,
I will believe it,
