Unexpected

Adrian’s POV

“You can’t just give up your throne and expect me to be quiet about it” I was so mad at my aunt right now, she was giving up her throne to Abe Mazur, not only was he one of the most feared Moroi he was also Rose’s father and if Rose is princess she would be queen if the Moroi let a dampir be queen that is and she wanted me to be quiet about it until she notified the rest of the people.

“Adrian it’s happening I’m not changing my mind, it is what’s best for this race to survive Abe can make more laws happen because people fear him and that is what Rosemarie will soon lean too” I couldn’t believe what she was saying, I left her to do her own thing and ran into the soon to be king but no Rose. I quickly walked out of sight and soon found Rose with a enormous brown dog, you could see that it’s tips of it’s teeth were silver and it’s eye’s were blue they were out in the practice field, no one else seemed to be out there so I decided to talk to the new princess.

“Hey princess” The dog thing started growling but soon stopped when Rose patted his head and gave me a smile

“Hey Adrian and it’s just Rose” I smiled and nodded

“Nice bodyguard” I pointed to the dog

“This is Zeke and he is not my bodyguard, he is my baby I found him when he was a puppy and kept him, go say hi to Adrian, Zeke she pointed in my direction and he came to me sitting at my feet.”

“Hey boy” I patted his head and he went back to Rose’s side

“Have you seen Lissa yet” I asked her

“I haven’t seen anyone but you, I’m really not in the mood to answer questions” I smiled at her, she still looked like the same Rose the way her body curved in all the right places, and her dark wavy hair fell over her shoulders, and her tan skin and dark eyes. Then Belikov showed up and ruined everything he came running this way and stopped frozen in place. Rose looked at him for about a millisecond and looked back at me

“I have to go Adrian, I will see you later come on Zeke” and like that she was gone I looked at Belikov

“You just had to jog now didn’t you”

“I didn’t know she was here” I just left him staring after Rose and went back to my room I think I finished a bottle of vodka before I passed out.

 DPOV

I watched as she walked away then Adrian after Adrian left I ran after Rose. I had to find her and tell her I was wrong by pushing her away that I still loved her. She headed into court and that beast of a dog followed her, she falled down the hallway and I caught her arm

“Rose-” she landed a blow on my face making me let go of her arm and that dog started growling, when she saw it was me she put her hand down and said

“What do you want Dimitri” ouch no I’m sorry, maybe I deserved that I didn’t know but I needed to talk to her.

“Rose I need to talk to you”

“I’m listening” she crossed her arms over her chest, but then Tasha showed up

“Dimika, there you are I thought you disappeared” she patted my shoulder and stood close to me, Rose looked at her smugly until Tasha looked at her then she smiled.

“Hello Princess Mazur” wait princess what is going on?

“Hello Tasha, and it’s just Rose” Tasha smiled and leaned against me I was about to punch her I didn’t care if she was a royal or a girl, Rose took it the wrong way I think and said

“Well I’m going to go find my father, bye” she waved and that dog followed her when Rose was out of sight Tasha moved away from me.

“What the hell was that for” I asked her

“You broke my heart, I’m just repaying the favor” and walked away, I followed the direction Rose went and came to the throne room the door was opened so I slipped in and saw there was a meeting in progress with the royal council, the moroi, and dampirs, I saw Rose and Abe in the front and then the queen announced the news.

“My subjects I am giving my throne to Ibrahim Mazur” the crowd broke out into whispers and the queen raised her hands

“The council agrees, Ibrahim is going to make a worthy king and his daughter Rosemarie Mazur is going to be a worthy princess raise your hand if you like this decision” out of everyone in here almost all the people raised their hands.

“Then it is decided, Ibrahim Mazur will be our king” the crowd erupted in applause and I saw several people bow to Rose and Abe, and the room empties only, Lissa, Christian, Eddie, Adrian, Abe, Rose, and I. There was hugs and kisses but we didn’t touch and I was kind of feeling bummed but I didn’t make a big deal of it we all sat down and Rose told us about what they have been doing while she was gone and about that psi hound named Zeke I’ve come to hate.

“Well Rose why don’t you go unpack in your new room” Abe held out the keys to Rose and she walked off with that damn dog behind her and disappeared. Abe, Adrian, and Eddie walked off in the opposite direction and Lissa and Christian disappeared to do there thing. I went to the gym where I found Rose, I knew she would be here. Rose was wrestling around with Zeke and I’m serious he was biting and she was punching and kicking in return, they stopped and Rose laughed and patted his head

“You got me” she looked at him for awhile and then hugged him “weird” I thought

“Do you know I wish you could talk without the bond” she said to the hound

“What bond” it slipped out before I could stop it, she whipped around and socked me in my face

“Ow” I held my face

“You really shouldn't better than to eavesdrop on me, even you should know that” she went to walk out, but I caught her arm

“Why do you hate me?!?!”

“You should know that answer well enough, why don’t you run back to Tasha I’m sure she is looking for you”

“Rose I don’t love her, I love you" just then Tasha showed up 

"Speak of the devil" Rose said with a sarcastic tone

"Move away girl, Dimitri I'm PREGNANT" she yelled the last part, I thought Rose would kill her then and there, but she smiled 

"Congratulations, now if you can excuse me I have work to do" Rose didn't give me even a second glance and started walking off, but that mutt looked at me with anger and sank his teeth into my arm, I screamed and Rose ran back to me. The dog released and Rose smiled she SMILED!

"That was for lieing to me, you don't love me you just used me and you know what? I've out grown you" she looked at Tasha

"You might want to keep that baby away or he will turn it into a mini him" Tasha nodded

"Yes, Princess Mazur" she bowed and Rose walked off with Zeke trailing behind her, when Rose was out of sight Tasha smiled and stood up straighter

"Looks my work is done, oh and you might want to get that looked at" she walked off and I was left alone but one thing echoed in my mind that Rose said "you used me and I've out grown you" I had to get her to trust me but how??
