As the darkness struck upon the lonely world,
Many people had already left
Far, far away never to be seen again.
Here,
A helpless individual lay
Ready to leave forever
Out of this world
Never to be seen again
"Where are you going?" asked an innocent girl by the victim's side...
"Hopefully a better place far from here," replied the victim of death,
"When will you come back?" the worried girl asked once again...
"Maybe never," was the reply from the victim only seconds from her death...
"Will I ever see-," the young girl began,
But she was unable to proceed,
For she was too late...
And with that,
The victim's lifeless body lay,
For the victim had left,
Never to be seen again...
The child's eyes filled with sadness and mourning,
Descending into a flood of tears,
And from these very tears originated an idea
Not just any idea,
An irresistible idea
The poor girl simply couldn't refuse this,
She would go on a mission,
Travel the world,
Search high and low
And bring back the casualties of this crime
Unaware they couldn't return
No matter her efforts
This mission would never be accomplished
After all,
She was all alone...
No one left to support her during these fatal happenings
She had no one left in this world
Not a friend,
Not any family...
She was the last survivor...
For this was the matter of life and death
