As i lay down, eyes closed
And silently hear my inner soul speaks
The sound of silence, sweet and still
I hear it from deep within
A place i never dream to be
A place so beautiful and peaceful lay
Like a garden of roses and ivy buds
Peace within; i speak about
My inner spirit doth embrace
The fragrance of peace burns within me
It grows and blooms as quickly as
The sun' journey across the velvet skies
Peace within; i sing about
Feared in battle, rise in victory
When the blast of war blows in our eyes
A peace those in the shadow not wanting to shine
But even then, in the dept of our grieve
ALAS! not all is total darkness........
