Great white
Love is something that I have experienced at many levels
I have ran down its long country roads smiling with the sun on my back
and I have also walked with slouched shoulders and slithered down its dark, damp, alleyways in the rain
It is a place in the mind that can eat ones soul and still come back for seconds
like a young child savagely eating a birthday cake with chocolate frosting covered hands before he or she even blows out the candles
I have fallen in love with women whom are total strangers and will most likely never see again
I have fallen in love while watching them walk down the street, shopping in grocery stores, pumping gas, taking orders at restaurants
It is a feeling of such magnetic connection and emotional force
as if fate is holding out its hand to introduce me to them
such a force that pulls you in like a deep sea fishermen fighting for his life while reeling in a Great White
The shark does not want to give in and neither does the fishermen
a brief war that lasts only a few seconds, and then it’s over
she goes her way and I go mine
And the cycle continues like the perfect system that it is
