Christine: Dog(Specifically a King Charles Spaniel) - Like a dog, Christine doesn't judge on appearance, but loves people for who they are inside. at the beginning you could also say that she is a lamb.
Erik: Wolf- Not only is he a wolf because they are the natural predators of lambs, but he is very strong and intimidating
Raoul: Horse - He is sweet and loyal but tbh kinda skittish and sensitive
Meg: Deer- Skittish and easily scared, but still pretty and pure
Madame Giry: Crow- Mysterious and never forgets a face
Andre & Firmin: a hippo and those Tick Birds that ride on them- they rely on each other and have an unmistakable bond
Carlotta: Those pampered dogs that ride around in purses- I think you see my point
Piangi: the guy carrying the purse
