Story 5 : Skateboard

Xiao Zhan was in a rush.

"Where is Zhan?" He heard the crew members asking.

"I'm here... I'm here." He ran towards them. Everyone including Lan Wangji was waiting for him.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry....I.." he couldn't complete because, he stepped on to something and in a blink of an eye, he was on that ground. His back hit so hard on that floor and he cried in pain.

Everyone rushed towards him and he was trying to endure the pain.

"What happened?" Someone asked.

"He fell down." Someone said.

"What was that?" Xiao Zhan asked when everyone gathered around him.

Xiao Zhan tried to sit up and someone helped him from behind.

"It was the skateboard." Zhuo Cheng answered and he was laughing.

"YIBO!!!!" Xiao Zhan shouted.

"I'm here." The Lan Wangji was right behind him and when Xiao Zhan turned his head to see who was holding him, the younger smiled at him cutely.

"Are you smiling?" Xiao Zhan yelled at him.

"Well everyone is. Come on get up." Yibo tried to pull him up but Xiao Zhan stubbornly pulled his hands away from Yibo with a glare.

"Why did you put that thing here?"

"Don't Xiao Laoshi have eyes?"

"Are you talking back to me? Huh! I fell down because of you. My back hurts and you are making fun on me? How rude is...... Hey... Hey... What are you doing? Put me down. Put me down" Xiao Zhan was all shocked when that young man grabbed him from that ground and carried him in his arms.

"Stop nagging." Yibo said while walking towards the resting room.

"Wang Yibo, put me down." Xiao Zhan was so embarrassed.

"Put you down? You really want me to do that?" Wang Yibo asked while walking and he had a smile on his lips.

"Not like that. I... I can walk."

"You said I'm the one caused this to you. Then let me pay you back."

Why this guy is being stubborn. Xiao Zhan thought.

He looked around and everyone there was shocked to see the sight of Lan Wangji carrying Wei Wuxian in a bridal style. People gasped and covered their mouths. Xiao Zhan's face beaten red and he couldn't help but cover his own face. He looked through the gap of his fingers and found Yibo haven't affected by any of this. He had that 'I-don't-give-a-fuck-about-anyone-and-anything' attitude.

"Yibo, please let me go. It's too embarrassing." He mumbled but Yibo only stopped when he got in that temporary rest room for actors.

He found a bed and put carefully layed the elder on that.

"Tell me where is you got hurt." Yibo immediately grabbed Xiao Zhan's one hip and Xiao Zhan's eyes widened in shock.

"Get your hands off." Xiao Zhan slapped off Yibo's hand. Yibo smiled.

"Come on let me see it." Yibo teased him more.

"Don't touch me. Go away. Somebody please help me." He called out and Yibo was all smiling.

"If you both had enough fun, then can I check him?" They both heard a voice and there was their doctor behind Yibo. The other actors and crew members also came into that room.

"Doctor, please help me." Xiao Zhan reached his hand towards that doctor.

Yibo chuckled softly when he see that.

"Okay, everyone please go outside. Let me check him." The doctor said and everyone nodded before they go. But Yibo stayed there, watching Xiao Zhan with that smile.

"Why are you standing here? Get out." Xiao Zhan yelled at Yibo.

"I want to see where Xiao Laoshi is got hurt." He replied.

"No you can't. Doctor, please tell him to go out." Xiao Zhan wanted to cry. Because he was already blushing like a tomato.

"Sir, can you please wait outside?" The doctor asked politely and Yibo nodded obeying.

After a while, Yibo came back and he had a paper bag in his hand.

Many people came and see Xiao Zhan. Yibo waited for everyone to go and everyone said bye to Xiao Zhan when they saw Yibo waiting.

Yibo was still in Lan Wangji's costume.

He came and took a seat near Xiao Zhan's bed. Xiao Zhan was pinning him with his stares.

Yibo smiled again to that mad man before he offer the bag to him.

"You must be hungry"

Xiao Zhan's face lit up when he smelled the his favorite potato chips. His bunny teeth showed up and Yibo couldn't help but smile silently to that cutest face he have ever seen.

"I am starving " Xiao Zhan immediately grabbed that bag from Yibo's hands and he ramaged through it. He found his favorite chips and some chocolate bars in it. He picked a chip bag and started eating it.

"Ah... you brought me food but Don't think I forgive you." Xiao Zhan said while he eating. Yibo didn't say a word. Just smiled and stared.

"They gave me an injection. Doctor said me to rest and there is nothing to be worried about." Xiao Zhan said again.

After finishing those completely, Xiao Zhan layed down again.

"Now you should go. I'm gonna have a nap." He said before he close his eyes. Slowly he fall asleep.

Yibo was patiently watching the other man. He was staring that face and he couldn't help but look at that black mole. Nothing ever in his life stole his attention like that little dot do.

His eyes dropped to Xiao Zhan's hand in front of him. He slowly reached for it. He touched those beautiful slender fingers curiously. He grabbed one finger and examined the texture of it with his own. Slowly, he entwined fingers and rested his head on that bed facing the sleeping beauty.

"I'm sorry Zhan Ge. I was careless. I shouldn't have put my skateboard there." He whispered softly.

When Xiao Zhan opened his eyes, he found Yibo sleeping. Yibo's head was resting beside Zhan's hip. That's when he found their entwined fingers and a small smile appeared on Xiao Zhan's lips. He slowly pulled away his hands from Yibo. His hand reached and touched that forehead ribbon. Slowly, he cupped that cheek with his palm and he stared into that angelic beauty sleeping beside him.

"It wasn't your fault Lao Wang. I was in a rush. I didn't see it. Don't worry about me na." He whispered when he rubbed his thumb on that soft skin.
