"Princess?" I asked the hologram like it was going to talk back to me.

"Yes you are a princess but you aren't from this world." She said

I dropped the necklace on my bed. "How can you talk to me if you are just a hologram?"

"Us mermaids have powers and those powers do great things. That's why you are human and that's why I can respond to you. I casted a spell on you so that my mother won't find you and kill you. I also sealed my soul in this shell necklace."

"So what you are saying is that I'm not human but mermaid?"

"No you are indeed both my dear. Let me explain how you came to be. 17 years before you were born, I was captured by a human named James. He was going to turn me in to get money. But for some reason he didn't. He let me go back into the ocean. Everyday around noon, he would go to a cave where I would meet him. From there we fell in love. That's how you came to be. I lied to my mother saying that I was pregnant from a merman. She found out the truth from some of my guards. On the day you were born, my loyal guard and I hid in a cave. That's where I gave birth. We planned to live as humans until all of the mess died down about me breaking the rules. But mother wouldn't let me breaking the rules go. The rules said you can not be with a human. She found us while we were swimming to the surface. She said she sunk my lover's ship. Then tried to have all of us killed. But I saved all of us with a spell. Then she charged at you and Larry, my loyal guard. I jumped in the way and took the hit. That's when I made him human and did a spell to transport you and him to the surface. I also sealed my soul in that necklace before I gave it to Larry."

I nodded showing that I understood. "Okay so what's this about you have come of age?"

"You have to return to Utopia and take your rightful place as queen."

"But I don't know anything about this. I don't know any spells. I don't even have a tail."

"Don't rush it. The spell I casted on you is wearing off but wearing off slowly."

I nodded. "I have to go. I have a surf meet later."

"Bye my child. Also wear this necklace. It will protect you against any danger."

I closed the necklace and put it on.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNA!!!" Said the entire surf team.

Anthony runs up to me and says "Are you feeling okay? And I got you this."

"Yea I'm feeling fine now. I'm ready to surf. And thanks your the best Mickey."

I open it to see a ring with our initials on it. I smiled and kissed him.

"I love you!" I said

"I love you too."

"Can you give it to my mom? I don't want to lose it while I'm surfing."

"Of course." He said. "Good luck out there."

"Thanks."

I grabbed my pink board when the announcers said Anna vs Kristen. We are going against the Falcons. Our team is called the Dolphins.

Right now me and Kristen are tied. All I have to do is do one more trick and get a perfect score.    I feel the water brushing against me. Some hits my face.

"What's up with Anna's hair? It just dyed out of no where. Now it has blue streaks going through it."

"What!?" I whispered to myself. I grab my hair and it was indeed blonde and blue. I went under a tunnel wave.

I can feel my feet joining together slightly. I look down to see pink scales on my legs. I have no choice but to...

Splash! My board flew up into the air. "Oooooh it looks like the Falcons win!!"

I dive deeper into the water. I look down at my legs. They were perfectly normal.

This cannot be happening.

What can't be happening?

Here we go again.

The voices in my head just won't go away.

Actually I'm in front of you.

I look up and see a seahorse. "Hi you must get to the surface before head mistress Amy finds you."

I opened my mouth but shut it before my air leaves my lungs.

"Heehee it's okay you can breath under water."

"Oh yea I forgot.. but how can I talk to you?"

"Because silly you are half mermaid. But we must go before you are spotted." The seahorse rushed me to the surface where Anthony and Rebecca were waiting for me.

"Are you okay?" Anthony asked while I got on my board to paddle back to shore.

"Yea I'm fine. Just had some complications."

"Well lets go party!!" Said Rebecca

The party lasted for a hour. Every one went home except Anthony.

"Anthony can you keep a secret?"

Anthony's POV

I knew that it was serious because she said my name. "Yes you know I can."

"No matter what the secret is will you still love me?"

"What kind of question is that? Of course I would unless you killed somebody."

She chuckled lightly.

"Okay here goes nothing. I'm half human and half mermaid."

"What?"

"I could show you." She got up and grabbed the cup of water that was on her dresser. She poured it on her legs. Her legs turned pink and scaly.

"How long have you knew?"

"A couple hours."

"Oh well I don't care if you are alien if I like you, then nothing will change that."

She jumped on top of me.

Our lips met.

No way I can break up with her not after a 3 year relationship.

I thought as I flipped us so I can be on top. She had her hands in my hair, lightly tugging it. I moved to kiss her neck. I bit her. She let out a soft moan.

Amy's POV

"I've found you" I said. "Thanks to my eels eavesdropping on that little conversation with the seahorse, I have finally found you." I said watching her and a human make love to each other. "Too bad you will suffer the same faith as you mother, granddaughter."

Anna's pov

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes. I want this." Said Anna.

They proceeded.

I'm finally having sex for the first time. Both of us are. I love him. I thought as we made love.
