Chapter 9

After Mission James was accomplished, we all went back to Miami High School feeling ecstatic and energetic as ever. It was like I was high on adrenaline, which is probably one of the reasons why I love football so much.

“You think Coach will release us for sixth period so we could go to North Miami High School and see James in humiliation?” Logan asked me, as we walked from the parking lot to campus.

I replied, “Why don’t we tell him that something came up with Aiden and we need to see him?”

“Smart,” remarked Josh and I smirked.

“Hey boys,” a voice that sounds suspiciously like Candace called from behind us and I tried not to hurl.

We all turned around and some guys started to check the 3 C’s out. Guess what they’re wearing? Leather short-shorts, and a see through tank top that shows so much skin that it should be illegal. I swear, the 3 C’s have severe mental issues that probably the best doctor won’t be able to cure.

“Wow, where did you get those? Prostitutes R Us?” I asked with a raised eyebrows.

“Don’t be jealous, Alex. Oh wait, never mind, you have the right to be jealous because we look sexy,” she snapped.

To prove her point, Landon, the asshole that tried to ruin me and Aiden, practically drooled when he pass us.

“Isn’t it the other way around? I don’t need to dress like a slut to look good,” I smiled at her.

The bell rang then and I turned to walk away. But then, I faced her again and said, “Hey, you sex on legs shouldn’t go to class. I’m pretty sure you three can find three streets you stand in that will get you plenty of money by the end of the day.

My guys cracked up and as I walked away, I felt a wave of success washed over me. Nothing makes a girl feel happier when tell a slut off. By the end of the day, I still had plenty of energy to come around. I walked quickly to the boy’s locker room and immediately stopped.

Damn, the guys were changing in there, and I have to talk to Coach Jeff quickly in order to make it to North Miami High on time to see James’ pink outfit. Come on, boys, get out, please! After five minutes, they weren’t still out and the only choice was to enter the locker room.

Taking a deep breath, I entered the room, keeping my eyes on floor as I entered the unknown. A girl can only look at the ground for so long before she bumps into something.

“Hey, Alex,” voices called out and I turned, then stopped on my tracks.

Holy smokes. All the guys happen to be half naked, wet, and muscular. They all of a six pack or an eight pack, with muscles in their pecs. Breathe, Alex, breathe.

“What are you doing here, Alex?” Coach Jeff demanded and broke me out of my gawk.

“Um…we need to go see Aiden. Can we miss practice for just today?” I asked him, my voice nearly failing me.

He looked at me for a minute then said, “Sure. Tell Aiden to get better soon for me.”

I nodded and ran out of the room like it was on fire. It was not on fire, but it was definitely hot. As I ran out, the guys laughed, some throwing whistles and teases, but I ignored it and ran out.

Wow, just wow.  Who would of thought boy heaven was right next to the smelly gym?

I waited by my car for the guys to come out, and when they did, they all had smug looks on their faces. I narrowed my eyes and they smirked.
