I shivered in the night's cold wind as it felt a thunderstorm was coming my way. I somewhat felt safe knowing that Aaron said he and his crew were coming back for me, but I couldn't trust them, no matter how much I need to. I'd rather be in Aaron's protection rather than his mysterious-looking friend. I was dreading their return. Aaron had told the local authorities about the body being found and informed them that I was safe and not to be reported missing.

Not a sound was sweeping the canals, well, not a sound that was alive. The dolls made themselves known at night, and they were aggressive. Whatever these men were in search of, they were going to find it in these dolls.

-"Alright, we're back!" A man voiced as I immediately felt my spine shiver. I hoped it was Aaron as he swore he wouldn't hurt me.

-"Where are you going, bro?" A man with a stern voice asked as I heard movement coming from their boat.

-"I'm going to look for the girl." The man whose voice I recognized as Aaron's said.

-"Hold on. I'm coming with you." His friend said as I saw his red L.E.D light turn on, which was mounted on his forehead. A shiver traveled down my spine as the L.E.D lights looked like narrow red eyes from a demon.

-"Sweetheart!" Aaron's friend announced as he turned on a bright flashlight in search of me. He looked terrifying with his dark attire and appearance. He looked like a man who loved women by the way his appearance was: he had large muscles and spiked black hair. Something I would see a man from Las Vegas wearing - a player.

-"Aaron?" I whispered before watching his chocolate brown eyes turn to me through the darkness.

-"There you are!" Aaron chuckled as he held open a blanket that he was carrying for me after he had gotten off the boat, "Get in this thing and get warm!" He laughed as he walked toward me, helping me up and wrapping me in the blanket. That's when I accidentally made eye contact with his friend that accompanied him. I had come face to face with a man who could turn on me in a split second.

-"Are you okay?" He asked as he turned off his flashlight.

I nodded my head at his question, quickly looking to the ground so I didn't have to look at those dark and demanding eyes that sent a wild shiver down my spine.

He breathed heavily through his nose before I felt him turn his attention to Aaron, who was standing protectively behind me, "Are all of the X cameras up?" He asked.

-"Not all of them. I think there's only one left. I was going to do it after I found her and got her on the boat." Aaron explained as the man in front of me nodded.

-"Do you care to go ahead and do that while we're waiting on Billy and Jay?" He asked.

-"No problem!" Aaron laughed before taking out his flashlight and heading to his designated place.

-"Come with me, sweetie." The man asked as he put his large palm on the back of my shoulder. His touch brought chills to my tender skin.

-"Zak!" Aaron announced as he ran back to us, "Did the cops come up here?"

-"They should've? Why?" Zak asked as he gently pushed me in front of him. I was confused about why they were wondering if the police had come up here unless they were looking for me and Macy.

That's what those noises were today! Maybe it wasn't the dolls after all!

A silent crackle caught my attention as I turned my head to see a bright inferno lighting the nearby logs next to the canal.

I lightly tapped on Zak's elbow, "Who started that fire?" I asked.

-"Aaron! Get over here and turn on your camera!" Zak said in shock as he turned on his flashlight, trying to debunk this occurrence.

-"That wasn't there when we first got here.." Aaron said in a husky voice.

-"Sweetie, go get in the boat," Zak said as he pointed to the small boat. I didn't want to go alone because I didn't know who these men were.

-"No," I said as I clutched my blanket that was draped over my shoulders.

-"Trust us," Aaron said.

I looked at Aaron confused. He didn't seem as demanding when I met him the first time.

-"I can't." I cried as I bit my bottom lip.

-"Why not sweetie?" Aaron asked.

-"I'm just scared. You guys don't know what happened when I arrived here for the very first time. Not even a day in Mexico and I almost lost my life. Maybe it would've been better than seeing someone you're so close to being killed." I explained.

-"I'll take you back to the boat, okay? And I'll take you back to the dock so you can stay in our hotel." Aaron suggested.

I shook my head, "It can't be that simple!"

-"There has to be a way, though! We're not leaving you here!" Aaron argued as he handed his large camera to Zak and walked toward me, "I won't let anything hurt you. I promise." Aaron smiled as he effortlessly led me to the boat.

-"Zak, I'll be back," Aaron announced.

-"Why can't I go with you? Billy and Jay won't be here for another hour. I'm not staying on this island by myself!" Zak argued as I saw his fear of dolls in his expression. I wouldn't blame him, I had a severe phobia as well.

-"We won't let anything hurt you," Zak repeated Aaron's words as he joined us on the boat and telling the driver to go back to the docks.

I stranded myself away from the two men, taking in the Mexican air that was surrounding me as I listened to the silence around the canals that would occasionally release a paranormal sound, drawing Zak and Aaron's attention.

I sincerely appreciated their concern and help as I didn't wish to be stranded on the island for God knows how long.

As we slowly arrived at the dock, my bones began to rattle as I saw the a yellow taxi, that was almost similar that caused my appearance on the island.

-"Get in. He knows where our hotel is. I went ahead and called to book you a room to yourself to rest." Aaron explained.

-"No, I-I can't get in there!" I begged as the horrid memories flooded my mind. I wished Aaron and Zak knew what I was thinking right now so that they wouldn't look at me like I was crazy.

-"Want me to go with you?" Aaron asked, "Zak and I both will make sure you're safe."

I slowly nodded my head in a 'yes' motion. I somewhat knew that these men wouldn't hurt even a fly, even though Aaron looked more like a teddy bear and Zak looked like a bodybuilder.

Zak got in the front seat of the taxi while Aaron sat in the back with me. I felt safer in Aaron's presence and that these two men would protect me.

-"Are you okay?" Aaron asked as he looked over at me.

I nodded my head as I was strangely comfortable. I hadn't been comfortable not once since I was stranded on the island.

My eyelids were majorly heavy as the taxi ride was smooth and relaxing as dusk had now turned into darkness.
