Jane was less than pleased to see Peyton walk across the quad before entering the small cafe on campus grounds. The three girls had gathered to make a plan on how Aria would get herself an invite to Laura Patterson's apartment, to get that video. At some point Jane and Peyton had to make up so Aria took it upon herself to create that situation.

"I still have a slap that's good for cashing in at some point, now would've been a great opportunity to dish one out--" Jane mumbled and stirred her already stirred smoothie glass.

"That slap was reserved for the party and as you heard; it wasn't needed." Aria smirked in her friends direction and gave Peyton a nod as she walked through the door.

It looked like Peyton had just trimmed her already neat buzz cut and had gone extra heavy on the eye-liner today  - it nearly looked like war paint. Aria rolled her eyes at the way the two refused to speak to each other, it was getting childish. If they couldn't overcome their differences there was a chance this could all implode and if it did they were all in trouble, most of all Michael.

"If we're going to be successful with this plan, and it's essential that we are, the two of you will have to find a way to get along. I'm not saying that you need to be friends...but you need to get along." Aria ordered Peyton and Jane and leaned back to drink her own smoothie.

Peyton looked at Jane who had her arms folded over her chest as she awaited a long overdue apology. Peyton knew she was in the wrong but was also not the type who admitted it and Jane was not the one to cave when she knew she was right - thus the stand off. Eventually Peyton sighed and appeared to be defeated by Jane's narrowed stare.

"Fine, I'll be the first to say something," she said as if she was noble, "I'm sorry for saying that you were selfish, because you're not. It's just that--I'll do whatever it takes for this bitch to get what she deserves and that video is a part of that." Peyton mumbled.

"You're forgetting that I have experience with this and you don't! Hell; you don't even know what it's like to be Michael, but I do," Jane lashed out before her shoulders slumped, "I'll forgive you for what you said, but don't let it happen again. We're your friends and not your enemy." Jane looked at Aria who nodded with a smile.

"She's right, Peyton," Aria cut in, "we are your friends. I think Laura is enough to have as a common enemy."

Jane reached out her hand for Peyton to shake and after an awkward tension between them Peyton finally stretched her hand out. Finally with that out of the way they decided to focus on what they were really here for; the plan. For them to have access to Laura's place it would require some great planning and some grade A acting by Aria and even if she managed to pull it off last time she wasn't so sure about this time.

"The issue with all of this is Laura's password, if we don't have it we won't be able to get in. That's where we need to start." Peyton said.

"Actually; we may have someone who could help us with that password," Jane said and leaned over the table with excitement in her eyes, "Rebecca goes to CalTech, if anyone would know a way to get in to a laptop undetected and without a password, it would be her." Jane suggested.

Aria damned herself for not having thought of that plan herself and gave Jane a complimented look. They had barely spoken to Rebecca lately and she needed to get caught up to speed with what was happening at Hudson. Aria wasn't sure if she'd be disappointed she had missed it all or relieved to be far away from it - either way her involvement would be great.

"That's a good idea. Let's give her a call right now--" Aria said.

"We're texting as we speak," Jane said and held her index finger up for them to wait, "Rebecca says that she has a friend that can do it, but he'll need her email address."
