“Fat!”

“Ugly!”

“Loner!”

Tears in the bathroom.

Wishing someone would stand up for her.

Her best friend leaves her.

More alone than ever.

No one to talk to.

No one to help.

Seeping deeper and deeper into the darkness.

Doesn’t want to be seen.

Hides in the back.

Afraid of what other think.

Why doesn’t someone notice?

Why doesn’t anybody care?

Just one good person is all she needs.

No one wants to be seen with the loser.

Sits alone at lunch, listening to people laugh at her.

Has to be stuck into a group by the teacher.

Picked last in gym.

Teasing gets worse.

Pushed around like a flimsy doll.

Afraid to stand up for herself.

She cries out.

No one listens.

Help me, its not too late.

Tries to get better.

How? She asks herself.

She can’t.

Tries to make friends.

Everyone walks away from her.

Talks to counselor.

Counselor does nothing.

Parents only care about her pretty, smart and popular older sister.

Darkness starts to become her.

Fat?

Skips dinner.

Ugly?

Hides her face.

Loner?

No one ever sees her anyways.

Things don’t get better.

Crying herself to sleep.

Life seemed hopeless.

Skipping classes to avoid the problems.

That just causes more.

Slices on the wrist.

One day, she becomes lost.

Lost to the darkness.
