"Mommy why can't I just live here"
"Because if I do that your dad will feel like I'm taking you away and then some bad people will come"
"But your my mommy"
"They wouldn't care. But get your stuff ready so I can take you back to your daddy house"
"Ugh ok" she said going upstairs
I called Willie phone after she left and went upstairs
"Hello" he answered
"Are you home before I bring Ava back"
"Yea"
"Okay" I said about to hang up
"Wait"
"What now"
"Can we talk. It's been a month"
"Look Willie I forgive you ok. Is that what you want to hear"
"Yes I mean no. I want to talk"
"Of course you do. She'll be there in a minute" I said before hanging up
"I'm ready" Ava said coming downstairs

When we pulled up in his yard we got out and walked straight in.
"Who is that" he said coming around the corner
"Oh hey" he said coming to hug Ava
I talked to her about treating him like that. I mean yea it's his fault but she's a child
I stood there watching them until she went upstairs

"Cut the small talk what did you-
"Can you at least let me ask"

"I know. But what about your little girl friend you been having over"
"She don't mean nothing to me"
"Yea sure. But anyways what was so important you needed to talk to me about"
"Liv I'm really sorry. I know you tired of me saying it but I am. I want my family back. Ava isn't really fucking with me. And you're always too busy to talk to me. I just wish everything would go back to how it used to be"
"Well you fucked it up Willie. That shit really hurted. I sat there and cried to you about how fucked up I was and you threw it in my face. I wouldn't have ever done no shit like that to you" I said now crying
"You know what I have to go" I said getting up
"Wait" he said as he grabbed my arm
I turned to look at him trying not to look in his eyes
"Baby please I'm sorry" he said getting down on both knees looking me in my eyes crying
"I love you and I'll do anything for you to come back. I already lost you once. I don't want to risk it again baby please" he begged
I finally looked him back in his eyes. It felt weird to be right here with him doing this. Finally I got down to his height and hugged him.
"I'm sorry" he whispered in my ear
"It's ok"

"Uhm I have to go to work kiss Ava goodnight for me"
"Will you come back" he asked
"Uhm I'm gonna be busy-
"Come on just stay the night"
"I'll think about it" I said before leaving
When I got to my car I sat in the driveway for a minute before leaving. I went straight home to change into my work clothes and was on my Marry way.

"Zip my dress up"

"With some friends"

"Ok well see" he said before leaving out the room
After I was done getting dressed I went downstairs where he was
"Are you really gonna be mad at me"
