I was chillin' with my mom we were having tea together
"I'm gonna marry her" I said
My mom looked at me shocked she took off her glasses and attacked me with a hug
"Finally" she said
"Finally? You be waiting for this?"
"Yes I thought I was gon' die before seeing y'all getting married I'm gonna be the maid of honour" she said all happy
"You kinda too old for that I think Madison will be the maid of honour" I said
"Oh I'm so happy for you son I can't wait for Onika to legally become my daughter" she said
"Damn ma chill before you blow your blood pressure up" I said
"Okay okay I'll chill" she said
"I can already see her face when I propose to her" I said thinking about her
"I remember back in high school when you told me you were gonna marry her" she said
"Yeah I remember your reaction you was "boy you know nothing about marriage if I catch you with that girl I'm whooping ya black ass" and on top of that you hit me" I said
She laughed
"I wanted what's best for my son" she said
"And I have only the best in my life" I said
"So can I help you plan your proposal?" She asked
"No" I said sternly
"But son I know what she likes"
"I've known her for six years I know what my woman likes" I said
"Don't come here asking for my blessings Mr rude" she said
"Okay I won't bring my kids here anymore" I said
She side eyed me her little boyfriend walked in
"Oh dear I've got good news Meek is getting married soon" my mom said
"Oh at least he's gon' do something good than be a criminal" he mumbled
"Nigga what? Speak louder" I said getting heated
"Meek calm down" my mom said
"No I ain't calming down for shit this nigga needs to learn how to respect me"
"Respect you for what? You just a kid" he said
"I'm a kid that pays my momma's bills not a man that just sits around and waits for things to be done for him" I said
"Kathy talk to ya son" he said
"Or what nigga? Watchu gon' do?" I asked all up in his face
"I don't fight with stupid boys" he said

"Well I fight with anybody that messes with my family" I said
"Robert! What the hell did you do?" My mom yelled at me
"I did what I should've done a long time ago, see you later Kathy" I said and left

We were at the park with the twins Nicki was blowing bubbles and they lost their minds it's crazy how my kids go apeshit over bubbles
"Yo you gon' kill my kids with those bubbles" I said
"I won't I promise" she said blowing more bubbles
