When the makeup artist was done with my makeup I looked at my self in the mirror

Well...I won't lie to myself, I did looked nice, but it was not as simple as I would have liked it to be

But I was actually surprised she listened to me and she did it simple despite Rabi'ah's rants

I thanked her as she stared to tie the head tie

Yaya Abdul walked into Aunty's room with his babban Riga on and his Zanna Bukar cap perched on his head

I opened my mouth wide with a smile that couldn't even contain my face "Ha'an, ba sauki fah!, kayi kyau" (It's not easy! You look nice)

"Na sani ai" he said as he fixed his babban riga "I wish I could say the same for you" he teased (I know)

I gave him a blank face

He burst out laughing

I'm going to miss this dork

"Wasa nakeh, You know you look nice" he said (I'm Kidding)

"Yeah whatever" I said

"You see, that's why I don't compliment you, you end up not appreciating the compliment" he said

"When are you going to start crying? I don't want to miss it" he added

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you're there" Rabi'ah said

He smiled at her

I rolled eyes at them

"Let me take you two a picture" Rabi'ah said

Ya Abdul moved towards me and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and I wrapped mine around his waist and we both grinned at the camera

Rabi'ah took the picture and we actually looked very nice

Ya Abdul left the room because everyone was waiting for him outside

I moved back to my room only to see it filled with most of my cousins and friends

Immediately they saw me the all started squealing like a bunch of crickets

They came to hug me one by one they made me feel so loved

I saw Khadija coming towards me and I was so happy she came

She hugged me and she spoke in my ear "girl! I found out you were marrying him yesterday!, do you know how shocked I was"

I released her and I laughed at her expression "it just happened Khadija"

I Know it must have been so confusing because I gave her a card saying I'm marrying someone like a week ago and now it's a different case

But she didn't question it

"Well I'm happy for both of you" she said

I grinned at her just as my cousin Fauziya enveloped me in a hug

I hugged her back

It took me some time to finally sit down

"Keh, Juma'ah prayer is over" Rabi'ah whispered to me (Prayer)
