Johnnie spent the next day at my home. I awoke and padded to the kitchen, careful not to wake him from his place on the couch. But when I peeked while passing, he was already awake, red hair disheveled and one hand resting behind his head. The other was tapping away at his phone, putting his thumb to good use.

As the coffee pot started, my phone buzzed. A new tweet.

My Digital Escape: Friends are all you need.

Friends? My heart leaped and my stomach sank at the same time. Were we... Friends?

Just friends?

Just as I had breakfast and silently padded towards my room, Johnnie hurried past me, voice just as rushed as his steps.

"We're going on tour," he told me. "Pack your things. We leave tomorrow."

"So soon?" I asked, spinning around and following him to his room.

The answer? Yes. And soon came... well, soon.

So I ran around packing and panicking. Packnicing. Is that a word? Fuck it, it is now.

I didn't expect my life to change so suddenly. I really didn't.
